Love the way you guys describe the techniques while you are performing them. There are so many instructional videos on youtube the vast majority forget to instruct while they are doing it. Thank you guys. You have given me and my gf the confidence to be able to do this here in the midwest. Thanks again and I look forward to another year!

I just started watching you all yesterday because of my interest in wanting to blow glass. I've got to say, y'all make it look so fun and fascinating. Blowing glass has always been something I've been curious about and thanks to y'all s videos i'm learning very quickly. Plus, the cannabis is just icing on the cake. It makes me admire y'all twice as much. I plan on continually watching the video's and the plane I just watched y'all make is freaking awesome.

Well done! I work in the aviation industry so I don't partake in the cannabis culture but enjoy watching different kinds of glass pipes/art being made. It was really awesome seeing you make this aircraft. Made me want to get back in the air :) Keep up the good work!

Haha my boyfriend watched this with me becauase he said " Iwant you to him make a fighter jet", he also loves commercial/small planes. he loves how you used white and black, because it was simple and showed alot of detail. He saw airplane and boom, he was hooked.
Thanks for teaching us all these techniques, tips and tricks. I really appreciate it because not everyone can afford to go to classes in a different state. Here in my area there are very few glass shops and studios. Thank you Dustin for creating such a loving and helpful environment! Also can you do a video on making a recycler type rig?

Before I got into glass, I went to school in Alaska to become a pilot, so this really made me smile. I went and tried my hand at one too! Never tried sculpting before :0) Thank you for an inspiring year of badass glass and tutorials!

Hey guys love the videos they have been a tremendous help for someone who has only been blowing for a year. Any way could you make a video going over how to make the common shapes in glass blowing as well as bending tubes and attaching horns. I really enjoyed the video about how to make the oil rig. Super informative! I watched it tried what you showed and it came out perfect. You and I are on the same wavelength you describe how to manipulate the glass in a very clear manner.

I love the plane, it's fun to watch an assembly like this where you make the separate pieces and stick them together. I actually have two questions for you. I notice that you tend to use hot seals and melt off your rods then pick off the extra instead of using cold seals and tapping the rods off. Is there a reason, or just personal preference? My other question is with your shears... when I cut glass, my shears sometimes leave black specks on the glass. Is that just because I have crappy shears, or is there something I should be doing to prevent it? Thanks so much, I just found your channel and I'm loving all the great tips and techniques!

Great videos guys! Congrats on your one year, and I wish you many more!
I also have a question! First off, I work quite a bit during the week with 4 hours of commuting on the bus. I have been glassblowing for about two months now and I don't have a lot of torch time during the week (if any) so weekends are really the only time I have to practice what I have learned so far. So my question is, are there any kinds of literature or instructional dvds that you could recommend that I look at while I have spare time during the week while I'm not able to have time at the torch? I feel that educating myself is the next best thing when I can't practice on the torch. Thank you so much for taking the time to answer people's questions!

Great work guys! That plane would definitely be in my work station for inspiration :) QUESTION: so, I've been using Trautman's pink caddy frit and for some reason it usually cracks after after I anneal it in the kiln. My kiln temp lingers around 1,040. Seems like the frit is well melted in. Wish I could use the color without it cracking on me! Haha
