I agree. I literally thought to myself the same thing. Then I scroll to the comments, and I see my words in writing. The details and dedication really need some acknowledgment and praise.

@@javinsimpson6971 You are correct. Our notes are made in England by De La Rue, which has been our banknote printer since the Central Bank first started issuing Barbados' banknotes in 1973. At the official launch of the notes back in May, a representative of De La Rue spoke about the company and our relationship with them. You can watch it here: th-cam.com/video/jhLDcFLLb6c/w-d-xo.html

@@javinsimpson6971 This is not exclusive to the Caribbean. Banknote manufacturing is an area that requires a lot of specialised equipment and expertise. As a result, many countries across the globe, including large ones, do not print their own currency. Our video on the making of the new series gives some insight into the process. You can watch it at th-cam.com/video/BshN6te1cDE/w-d-xo.html

Polymer banknotes can withstand very high temperatures, so they won't melt in Barbados' heat. You shouldn't iron them, however. You can read more about polymer at www.centralbank.org.bb/news/article/10808/polymer-banknote-myths-fact-or-fiction
