I'VE ONLY WATCHED PART 1 AND 2, AND I THINK THIS IS REALLY AWESOME WHAT YOU'VE DONE! I WAS GOING TO TRY AND MAKE THIS FOR MY HUSBAND FOR THIS HALLOWEEN, HOWEVER, IT IS TOO MANY DETAILS IN MAKING THIS COSTUME. GOD BLESS YOU AND YOUR PATIENCE :-)
Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed the videos 😊 I'll admit this one's kind of time involved, but if you wanted to simplify it, you could just use paint for all the details so you wouldn't have to cut each little piece out of foam and glue it on.
That's an awesome DIY for anyone who wants to do Vader for halloween. One important thing you missed was the belt hook for the lightsaber to hook onto. Other then that, you did a good job.
+Jedi training: lightsabers and such - Oh that's a good idea. Didn't think of that. Actually have some old bits of screen in the basement. Have to do that if I make another one. Thanks.
+Quadrant Yup, I could do that. I probably wouldn't be able to post it until about the 1st week of April, since I've got a backlog of how-to requests I'm working on. Does that still work ok for you? And are you looking to make one where the top light actually lights, or just an easier version with merely "decorative" top lights?
+Quadrant - Hey, just posted the Wrath of Khan phaser tutorial. Hope you enjoy. Just make sure you use fresh clay when you're doing it. I used old clay and it ended up cracking in places and I had to fill in the cracks with hot glue, hence the slight lines you can see in the finished phaser.
Yup, sorry this is before I started putting materials lists in my descriptions, but I think here's everything I used if I recall correctly: 1 belt, 2 sheets of 3mm craft foam, Scrap piece of 5mm craft foam, A straw , Scissors, Small cardboard boxes or scrap pieces of cardboard to make boxes out of, Elmer's Glue and Foam brush, Black, red, green, and metallic silver paint; Paint brush, Sticky backed dome studs (I found in JoAnn Fabrics)
All the foam and other materials for this part I got from JoAnn fabrics, with the exception of the base belt which I got from a 2nd hand shop. Watch for the 10% off coupons, it really saves a lot on those foam sheets.
Thank you very much for letting me know. I'm used to it, so I never realized I sounded depressed, but now that you mention it, I guess I do have this kinda monotone thing going on in my videos, lol. I'll work on trying to get my voice to sound happier and more enthusiastic next week.
TheMinecrafting Master Nah, you said it nicely, so it didn't come off as rude at all. And it's definitely a good point I'll have to work on, since I'm not actually depressed...I just sound like it ;-)

did u post the Kylo Ren and Anakin
Not yet, stillworking on them, you needed Anakin by mid-November right?
The Woodland Elf When I asked you for anakin episode 3,I wondered if you could do it 2.5 months later. So ya.😉😉😉
And Kylo was my first request for the next video.☺
But Anakin could be before Kylo Ren.😕😕😕
And I want to be Kylo Ren for Halloween ...So.
Where did you get all your material and foam?
