Great show. In here you caught a "mud fish" and you mentioned they are slimy, sharp teeth and they spin a lot when caught. I was wondering if those are similar to our northeastern eels.?? Because they have those 3 qualities and a few more. (If I asked you this before please forgive me).??

Those bowfin or mudfish fight, fun to catch but they will destroy baits especially spinnerbaits! I've even caught them fishing a frog. I callem wreckers!
@@TwinEagleRanch I caught a bowfin about 2 weeks ago on a paddle tail swim bait and I witnessed this fish snap his jaws about 6 times in the matter of 6 or 7 seconds and everytime he closed his mouth it made a loud pop or snap sound I've never had one do that but your right I really believe they have enough power in the jaws to take fingers off clean! God bless Mr Jimmy gotta get back to work, it's my last night and I'm off a few days, going fishing in the morning!

Mudfish, grinnell are just different names for the Bowfin fun to fight but so slimy and they tear up your baits!
