  • beautiful recitation | الأعراف Surah AL-ARAF
Surah Al A'raf, 7th chapter of the Holy Quran, is composed of 206 verses, the last of which requires prostration for the reader. Meccan surah, it is one of the longest surahs of the Holy Quran. Its name means “The walls” and represents a region located between Heaven and Hell. What lessons can be learned from Surah Al A’raf? Surah Al A'raf is addressed to both believers and unbelievers. It reminds us that the Quran is the Book of Allah to warn people while they mock and do not fear Allah. The Quran is a revelation so that we obey the decrees of Allah and follow no one but Him. Allah does not want to make our lives difficult. The Quran is a reminder because human beings need to remember their mission. Indeed, we do not remember our creation. We do not remember the fact that Allah created us from our father Adam, peace be upon him. Even less than we have chosen to take responsibility for free will. Just like people don't remember being in the womb of their mother who carried them and took care of them.
