- You asked for it, you got it! A sealed booster box opening of 36 packs from the Hoth Limited expansion set of the legendary Star Wars Customizable Card Game (SWCCG). Vintage box from 1996 in great shape and still factory sealed from almost 30 years ago. What will we get? As always looking for main characters, iconic cards from the movies, cool rares and playable in the game. Will the Force be with us in a great box or will it be a dud? Let’s find out!
It was certainly epic to get to watch a full Hoth box opening in 2024!

Have to say there is something special about Hoth, an iconic set, and one of the best bits of the OG trilogy. Super box opening. Happy May 4th!!
Absolutely this!! This was the set I mainly collected when I used to play in 95/96
Stalker + Probe Droid + Laser + Piett was such a sick deck. You just put tons of probe droids in there and start deploying them all over and force draining your opponent to death. You just mill them lol. Probe droids are one of if not the only droids in Star Wars CCG that can force drain and they are surprisingly a very strong card. There's also a number of cards that pair well with them as interrupts, etc. They do rely on getting some key cards out (ones mentioned) but once you do you snowball hard.
And you actually got the combo... you got a couple droids, Piett, and the Stalker... that's a win right there. Now just get 20 or so more probe droids :)
I didn't know or had forgotten you can force drain with probe droids. Nice!
Ah man! Been waiting for this one! I have 3 packs of limited hoth among others I’m sitting on but I’ll just enjoy this!

Yep I love smelling the cards right out of the booster packs too, has that pure nostalgia smell from being a kid so excited to open a couple packs from the local card shop
Nice draws! I've NEVER seen anyone ever pull a Commander Skywalker from a Hoth pack and I've seen dozens of Hoth boxes opened. I honestly think Command Skywalker is the rarest card in the entire Hoth Set. Such a difficult card to get.

Cool box opening. Hoth and Endor are my favorite sets. Love ground battles. So the backs of the cards are printed first. If the back is way off center it’s a miss cut. If the front is way off center it’s a miss print.

Also, I think the other series you were referring to may be Team Covenants Throwback Thursdays, they went through all of the Star Wars CCG sets both opening and playing.

Great Opening! so fun to watch! You definitely got many of the best rares. It does feel like you got more duplicates than i would expect, but I don't know how normal that is. Stalker and Rogue 3 are great R1 duplicates, thought!
