I’m so glad you are back, it’s amazing - I used to get joy from your videos when l was going through a bad marriage thinking you had a perfect life. We all have our own things happening don’t we. Love you x

I think that your post is the embodiment of self love. You have looked at your life with honesty and gave yourself the grace and compassion to change your life through the lense of love, this my friend, is nothing cringe worthy. What you have done was loved yourself to life and that’s kinda awesome.

Well, I was fascinated with your laser videos. I really appreciate that content. I am really shocked you are divorced now.
I think it is best that you hang onto money for later life. Your yard looks pretty excellent to me. I would limit spending there (maybe new furniture and planters or something without major construction?). Maybe get a realtor to chime in on what would create the most value. A fee based financial planner could run some numbers for you (based on conservative investments such as a bond ladder or maybe a rental property since you like real estate..., etc.).
I really love that you are aligning yourself with God and that you recognize the materialism is not the way. Having financial security sure helps sooth the pain of the breakup.
You are doing great! Keep up the good work! :)

He didn’t request the bag back? Probably you divorced in good terms. By the way.. why you changed the name from Isabella to Adela?

Money surely helps people suffer through loss and come out the other side. Women that get divorced or suffer the death of their spouses without any money really endure hardship for a while. Surprised your husband would take your dogs away if you picked them out and took care of them. Hopefully he is giving them a wonderful life. As far as your renewed relationship with God, that’s wonderful. But if that includes Jesus Christ, remember what he taught about doing for others, actually putting others first, and caring for the world around us, being generous, not materialistic nor idolatrous, obeying His commands as a sign of our love for Him. It’s when we live like this that the emptiness goes away. The deep void inside has to be filled by love and light, God’s light, and that only grows within us when we roll up our sleeves to serve. Now that you’re on your own after 20 years, a long time, you can consider where you may want to serve, an animal shelter, wildlife sanctuary, something safe, of course, children with cancer, the poor…. I’m sure there’s an area close to your heart. Let me encourage you to find it, embrace it, and enjoy the fulfillment it brings. God bless you in your journey.

Serving is very good advice! Thank you!
My ex husband didn't take the dogs. I gave them to him because the middle dog is his doggie and I didn't want to separate the 3 doggies.
