SS41595 The problem is, a lot of PL players are very big on their stats without actually being so good, and they produce an above average number of ragers and assholes because they know the failures are hurting their win rate. Nothing close to the Russians, but still enough to make them unpopular. :/

My favourite part about that match with Crybaby WZ-132 is that it was on the NA server, I recognize those clans.
Particularly the Obj. 263 from[-G-] and his platoon mate from [IOC-5], where [-G-] is actually the top clan on the entire NA server, and [IOC-5] at that time was also a huge collection of unicums, althought they didn't do much clan wars. They were also badmouthing Mr. Crybaby in his WZ-132.

Had a recent game with an EFE player wishing everyone cancer and remarking how certain members of the team should have been gassed in a concentration camp (lovely fellow) after he rushed forwards and died with only 300 damage, but even HE didn't call out our team's positions to the enemy.

The Mighty Jingles There are a lot of arguments on the question 'when or when not to give away allied positions, at which state of the game, blahblah', but I have a very basic thought/feel about that crap this WZ-132 was doing:
It's just dropping the quality of the battle-experience. Every time I see some enemy revealing his teams positions I just feel like 'wow... how could this be a challenge for me from now on?'. It's an unfair advantage I get. I didn't ask for it. Now I have to live with it. Thank you sucker!
It's no fun, no challenge at all to go on in this fight. No matter what state of the game it is. Very often the only thing I want to do is: Drive my tank in front of the remaining enemy player who put the greatest effort in this battle so far and donate my hitpoints to him for free. Just for NOT letting the suckers wishes come true.

Hmm, maybe I'm misunderstanding what you've stated, but there are *no* valid arguments for "when to give away ally positions", it's against the game rules, period. It doesn't matter what the circumstance is really, even if your teammate is an absolute herpa-derp, it's still against game rules.

Jingles, I have to say, I've watched a ton of your videos and love them all - good stuff.
At around the 21 minute mark you highlight one of the most frustrating aspects of the game for me, that being the apparent necessity by some to publicize my sub-par performance.
I freely admit I suck - but dammit I'm trying. I read the blogs and watch the videos. I TRY my hardest to put what I've learned or observed to good use, but invariably, there is that one player who just HAS to throw the spotlight on my shortcomings.
I just wanted to say I appreciate somebody of your calibre (no pun intended) recognizing the practice and trying to curtail its use.

Am I the only one who has noticed that the best players with the best stats in this game seem to be the biggest arseholes you'll ever meet in online gaming? Every time I see abuse in WoT without fail it'll be someone with fantastic stats.
Some of the "better" players in this game are stuck-up pricks, lots aren't. Pretty much every range of player rages on/off. I'd say, up through the lower-mid tiers it's usually more-so the terrible players that tend to rage and bitch. Most players with decent stats are actually too busy playing to do much raging.

PhilosopherGaming There's always going to be those few who undermine the intentions of the many, in every aspect of life, gaming is really no different. One of my commonly used lines: It's unfortunate, but it's the truth. You just have to remember that not all players are the same, even if they have similar skill levels (as people are that way really), it's like saying all cops are bad, just because you have a few bad cops. Or like saying that all red players are going to play horribly in every match, it simply isn't true. I've seen deep reds have extraordinary games, maybe not as often as other players, but still.
I will add this though: Many times those "better" players can get extremely frustrated when the mass of their team lets them down, especially when it's some sort of "basic" tactics that even the less experienced players should easily grasp, they are, after all, team games, and when your team refuses to use any sense at all, it can be frustrating. I've personally raged my fair share at players in WoT, WT, and many other games I've played that were team based. I've tried being nice many times, too, and it's actually worked on occasion, but no more or less than raging has worked. :P
This is why, on the rare occasion when I actually play WoT these days, I only play artillery. This way I don't feel so let down, since my contribution to most games is limited. I don't put in huge tactical effort (as I would in any other tank type) only to get left hanging by my team, I've found I do *much less*, if not zero, raging. In fact, it actually makes the game more fun, now I just get to feast on the anti-arty tears that poor out every few matches. >:D
I know, I kind of rambled a bit excessively, and off the point a little, I know you weren't making an assumption of all players, sorry. :P

Pz.IV H: H does not mean Hydro it's like a "serial number". A was the First Pz.IV version and J the last. It's called Panzerkampfwagen IV Ausführung H, and Ausführung means model.

My win rating used to be around 46%...and I was so fucking tired of people telling me im a bad player and shit, so I decided to bring it up some more. It currently is 49.62% so I'm not doing too bad....so telling people they suck might actually do them some good.

Well sorry for being frustrated when players like myself don't get any help. We know that raging will usually not making anything better, but we always pray that eventually we can intimidate the newer players into doing the right thing by calling them names. Hey, it works, sucks when we have to resort to it though.

I really don't understand that accuracy nerf. Real tanks in real life and in real WW2 killed each other at ranges of 2 km and more. I know the game isn't realistic, but why make it even more unrealistic for no good reason? The only explanation I can come up with is that they want to manipulate the meta game more towards buffing short range brawling Heavy Tanks (you know, Russian Heavy Tanks) and make it harder to hit weak spots so people buy more Gold Ammo. If that is how those people run their business and this game, they have seen the last of my money and that includes World Of Warships, because no matter how good that game might be, I have to assume that they will ultimately ruin it to squeeze as much money out of the fools playing it as legally possible, gameplay and fun be damned.

Those 90%+ of the polish gamer population who aren't like the prejudices at all simply fly below your radar, because they speak decent english, behave in an acceptable manner, play average or somewhere around it and have names that you can't tell their nationality by.
You will never even know they are polish, most likely you will simply assume they are from a country less disliked by you..
Those 1-10% idiots on the other hand behave exactly in the way you expect and make it blatantly obvious where they are from, which is where your prejudices come from.
Think outside the box.
PS. Just an example: Im not polish, but I'm from another country that has a certain stereotype of gamers. Guess which one.. good luck. The idiots from my country on the other hand will gladly confirm every stereotype you could have.
BTW: about 20-25% of the population on WoTs EU servers are polish. That means that there are a lot more polish idiots around than idiots from any other nationality.

Won't work. The percentage of idiots to others is the same in poland as in any other country, so nothing changes.
We will still have the same percentage of idiots in WoT, they will simply no longer speak polish, instead german, french, croatian, english, spanish etc.

The way I understand it, shots won't go more to the outside, but less often dead-center. So more distrubuted evenly between center and middle.
I see an opportunity in driving my AT-2 if theres a nerf and they due to that cant hit the commanders hatch...
Accuracy nerf in 9.6 means that my slowly resurfacing interest in playing WoT is gone again. GJ, WG!

I remember a game at El_halluf back in the times when i was a greenhorn and some Teammember of me started raging about my stats.
It got me thinking about my playstyle in the next games.. and it kind of stuck to my playstyle... Thats how i got good... I rised from a standardplayer who didnt care about winning or what hes doing on the battlefield to a 1600+ 55%WR+ player...
So in sometimed it helps them a lot.

Jingles, if you didn't know, 9.6 test server is up. There are some... interesting new tier 8 premium meds for French and Japanese.

I wish I could have seen that WZ's reaction when he tried to log on and realized his shit was wiped clean.
The other way you could tell the first replay is an old one is that there was a tier 6 KV-1S on the enemy team, whereas now the KV-1S is a tier 5 vehicle with an 85 mm gun as the top gun and the KV-85 replaces it at tier 6 with a either a 100 mm gun or the same but heavily nerfed 122 mm gun.
You keep repeating yourself, Jingles! Not an issue, because it just makes us hear your sexy voice more.
On live oaks, I always take my T29 or T32 along the southern road. It's the dips in the terrain that make for awesome places to go hull-down.

The best thing I can think of to combat a person like that is to just ask each team is they don't mind you spamming the chat to try and hide the positions of the friendlies.
That last game was fucking awesome. Very good play from that guy.

When the STB-1 tracked the T95 in the base, the WT fired a shot (31:01) but it missed and hit something to the left of the STB-1.

He generally likes to play Chinese tanks and then rage when he dies for running out into the open. This isn't the first time he's done this; sadly, I don't have anything to record it with. :c

Some people (like Jingles) often forgot that in WOT , most players are 10 years old kids with low emotion control and low judgement , hence players like that one who gave away positions of his own team and further more, players who take poor strategic and tactic decision .

The guy from the 13 90 in the second replay is my clanmate... you couldn't imagine how hard he was raging in teamspeak, he just didn't almost said anything because he doesn't really know a lot of english lol.

Jingles one thing.. Having a poor Winrate is nothing bad! if you make 11 Kills a round with who knows how much dmg but your team fucks up and the last 4 enemies rush you and kill you and you loose, it doesn't mean you are a bad player but that your teams just suck. I have a WR of 46% and a WN8 of ~1030 and still getiing better battle by battle. So don't think a bad WR means a bad player.

I'm happy to say that I'm not the only person I've seen tell enemies to shut up when they give away their teams positions. Doesn't happen as often as I'd like, though I've never seen an enemy thank someone for it before.
Also, not sure if this is from the replays or Jingles setup, but at least on the NA server, that shot caller mod (noticed it in the first two games) is banned because it reveals which tank is shooting at you when it's not spotted. I'd imagine it's an offence to use that mod on the EU server as well.

The accuracy nerf is probably not going to be as bad as you might think. It isnt making more shots go to the outside of the aiming circle, it is just getting rid of the shot having a high chance to fly perfectly straight. It will have a bit more deviance around the exact point where aimed. The idea is to prevent accurate weakspot targetting at long range. Note, this is my understanding of it. Im sure there is the possibility of translation error.
Honestly I've never gotten to the point of telling the enemy where my team is but I have like 0 tolerance for lemming train teams so I kinda get why the 132 got pissed
Hey Jingles. Great video as always. I have a tiny little request: can you maybe enlarge the minimap a bit in your replays? I am used to look at that thing all the time, and to really understand what happens in these treplays, it's nice to have this view. And as I am getting older, it's kinda hard to see the little details.. ahem..
I don't think Jingles mentioned that the first game was before the hellcat nerf. You can tell because he could go backwards at 20 kph rather than 12. Not sure that game would be possible today.
Everytime that WZ-132 gets into a battle, the enemy team should get a pop-up saying: "Secondary Objective: Find and kill Spear_PL and aquire the intel"

I don't think we can blame the enemy Centurion driver for being happy for the information. You can't really have fun in such games, and I certainly would report the WZ-132 no matter which team i'm in, but like Napoleon Bonaparte said: Never interrupt your enemy while he's making mistakes...

Couple days ago i witnessed a traitor just like that WZ-132 driver. Early om nom nommed, rage and telling everyone where tanks were. Yesterday i witnessed similar shit on the other team, receiving traitor intel... *sigh*
