Kenpachi is one of the greatest characters in manga and anime of all time until now. Most intense character put on ink, props to Gatts and Gon.
Everyone calls Toshiro the child prodigy but it's actually Kenpachi who is the real child prodigy of soul society.He beat Unohana when he was a teen and without any training.Imagine how op he would be at the start of Bleach if he hadn't sealed his powers back then...
The thing is he subconsiously sealed his True Power and then later sealed it even further with his Eyepatch if he would fight to win instead of fighting for the fun of it every fight would be over in seconds cause he is just broken Overpowered.
Remember for most of Bleach he was sealed, constantly drained is Spiritual Pressure with the Eyepatch and couldnt even use Shikai or Bankai if you remove all limits he would probly end up like Whitebeard with everyone refering to him as the Man with the Power to destroy the World. [With the tiny difference that Whitebeard could create Earthquakes thanks to his DF meanwhile Kenpachi creates those with Brute Force no Superpowers or anything xD]
The fact that Toshiro achieved bankai and became a captain at a much younger age than Kenpachi (I’m sure he didn’t become captain until he was a grown man) shows that he’s a child prodigy, so don’t downplay Toshiro.

@@CosmicNova1000 l think that you are the one underestimating Kenpachi Zaraki (also known as Kenpachi the Eleventh) who almost beated Kenpachi Retsu (also known as Kenpachi the First) in duel when he was only a little boy. After facing defeat against him, she renamed herself Yachiru Unohana and reconverted as a nurse.
Later on, Zaraki killed Kenpachi Kiganjo (also known as Kenpachi the Tenth) in a combat he was an adolescent.
N.B: Kenpachi the First succeeded in wining Kenpachi the Eleventh in combat back then because... the little boy realizing that he were to beat the most exciting warrior he ever had, Zaraki decided to sealed his Power so as to continue to feel the winterest of a true fight.
N.B: Zaraki did all of those achievements back then without using anything such as a Shikaï nor Bankaï.😂
What other facts do you want to hear or see so as to finally admits the Superiority of Zaraki over the Suol society ?!... Of course right behind Shigekuni Yamamoto (Captain of first Division having element of FIRE 🔥 as his attribute)

Kenpachi sealed his power when he was a kid, then further sealed it with his eye patch, neglected learning about his bankai and only used one hand even after being reprimanded by Yammamoto himself. Not to mention his power is so strong that his body can't handle it if he uses it all. Kenpachi is the walking embodiment of the term "I'm only using 1% of my power" and I love it 😂

That's not ENTIRELY true. Yamamoto actually insisted that Zaraki learn proper swordsmanship and forced him to learn Kendo, but gave up on the idea after only one day. Why? Because the simple act of Zaraki learning to properly swing a sword with both hands caused such a drastic difference in his abilities that the Central 46 actually banned Yamamoto from trying to teach Zaraki further for fear of how strong he could become.
It also says a lot that Yamamoto still insisted that no Soul Reaper stronger than him had been born in 1,000 years despite seeing the potential Zaraki had.
This was incredible. Tells a really good story without saying anything. The visuals painted the script. Got to see Kenny's motivations. Combat, saving his battle bro, raising the next kenpanchi. Flashbacks with unohana. Well done. These are top tier. I'm an oldhead but I can appreciate this quality.

Gremmy lost for the same reason that Takamura struggled against Hawk at first; he had never fought somebody that was truly strong. Kenpachi had hundreds of life and death struggles, and in fact reveled in it (and then thousands more against the first Kenpachi) but Gremmy's abilities were so absurd that weaker opponents could only be toyed with.
At the very least if he had fought and struggled prior he would likely have produced an army of clones that he used to launch drone attacks while his main body remained safely hidden away somewhere. He would have also known that imagination becomes a weakness when you not only acknowledge your opponent, but fear them as well.
The two fighters are on opposite sides of the raw power v.s. broken ability chart.
Kenpatchi is raw power personified. Gremy literally has reality warping powers.
Kenpatchi won because Gremy couldn't just instantly kill him and had no experience fighting.

The thing I think I love the most about Zaraki and Nozarashi is that with Yachiru as a separated soul entity the both of them can experience the joy and freedom to experience combat and living on the edge, a hallmark of a true kenpachi. As individuals they have complete unconditional love and respect for each other, with Nozarashi embracing the truth that a kenpachi thrives on experiencing an honorable 1v1. They only ever pair up when they must, and when they do it is as a ticking clock approaching their own death, but living life and enjoying every second to the fullest.
