Right now the only relationship I want to blossom is the one with Jesus. I read psalm yesterday that said “Wait on the Lord”. Right now I’m waiting for His hand in my life, but I want to show my love for what He’s done this past month

You don’t have to put other relationships on hold to show gratitude - do you see married people putting their relationships on hold.
No, they claim to be as devoted as single people, even though they spend less time with God - they can be grateful and still have a marriage. so If you’re single, you can have other relationships AND God. You’re still focusing on Him more than married people. Why should you have to chose, they don’t chose God over being with their family.

I see another person saying you don’t have to put relationships on hold, and I completely agree…
But do what you are doing right now. Love Christ and spend time with Him, and if that means you must put something or someone on hold, DO IT!! Push into knowing your messiah. I’m praying for you!!

I’m going through a lot with my relationship with my girlfriend as well we have been together for 3 years and I feel like God separated us for a reason to help us grow and we still talk as friends now so this is very spot on !

Sometimes it’s even in the comments you find affirmation, because same time frame and same situation! God has been using separation as well. But if so many others are going through it then makes me feel less crazy and less victimized.

Three years is long, don’t waste her time just cause you can have children whenever.
You have time to play video games so you have time for her. Take her time seriously or let her find her husband.
      She doesn’t have forever. This isn’t a game .

My Amen means to try always to be polite and peaceful. Until this moment here on the Podcast I never view Our Lord and Savior as being polite and simple (in a way of being easy to know). I did see Him as Beautiful though. This alone taught me many things that I will use in my daily life as I am attempting to do as My Fathers’ Will.

I have trouble having conversations with people about things at times because the people I addressed the problem to it lead towards anger, not listening, and an argument. Mainly it was with my mom and has scarred me for life, and she is still that way to a degree. So it makes it hard for me to have peace when confronting things, or I just don’t confront it. But thank you for this episode, it’s a great reminder. God bless you!

Omg this message is so simple but so so powerful. Completely relatable about wanting order. Got me thinking, is that why I have trouble in my relationships? Because sometimes not noticing I want things my way too and like you said - not assuming he’s called by God too and concerned with the same things really convicted me. Noticing that is exactly what God is working on in me. This message really helped me to remember to be peace loving, thank you 🙏🏼

I might have to have a hard conversation with a loved one. I think my amen could be talking politely with peace. I don’t have to get into a conversation as a loud preacher, but as a prisoner of Christ and as a loved one. Thank you for this! I didn’t realize God was speaking to me through this. I also loved that Jesus is the Prince of Peace. Because He is the Prince of Peace, I can receive His grace and share that with the people around me. I also loved that you brought up that God is simple. Our peace comes from knowing God’s character.

I feel torn because the relationship that I thought of is with my stepmom. I told her and my dad that I was sexually abused by a relative and her response or lack thereof, has caused a shift in our relationship. She didn’t sympathize or anything, so how do I repair that relationship? Do I have to become more obedient to God in order to do so?

But she said no when I asked her out but also she said she just ain't ready for a relationship right now but she also said that she doesn't know what could happen in the future like if I could be her man late on in life cuz she still wants to hang out with me all the time still and I'm basically the only guy she hangs with. Honestly I'm fine if never ever happens between us but I'm just asking for advice or wisdom cuz yall have experience with this kinda stuff. Alot of people say to me that she's just taking it slow. Lmao but I'd thought I'd just ask yall for advice. Christ bless all yall

My AMEN is the concept of being a prisoner of Christ. That was the most convicting. For me, I think having that frame of mind is to remember His will, not mine. It’s a sacrificial act. Less of me, more of Him. It’s listening to the call of the Holy Spirit. When I am walking around town and I see someone in need and I feel the Holy Spirit pressing me to give, I would much rather keep walking to get home because I have a schedule or I am carrying something heavy or x, y, z but because we are slaves of Christ, it’s about submission and listening to our ultimate Authority. That is how I least interpreted but it was a very important reminder or a nice way to look at it moving forward 🙂 🤍
