MN99s - Sunset Beach Crawl - by

💥🎬 In this video... we're back down at Hayling Island Beach, this time with the modied MN99s trail truck.
I have this running a Hobbywing 1060 brushed esc with the WPL 2 speed transmission with 370 motor and Dumbo radio/receiver. I am a big fan of this combination and for a cost effective upgrade you can't go wrong. The low speed gear is so slow, giving excellent crawling capabilities along with the lead weight I have wrapped around the beadlocks.. it's now that little bit more capable.
I have also recently added 'hair donuts' in place of the supplied foams you get with the 74mm DJ Crawler mud tyres I'm running. The result is a lot more side wall stability and grip, relying more on the compound of the tyre to work without too much 'folding up' of the tyre. The fact I have quite a bit of lead in there means the donuts have ballooned the tyres slightly to around 77mm which has also given that little bit more ground clearance - I''m very happy with the outcome! 😊
