Filming location: High Street, Camberley (GU15 3FL)
A busy level crossing located in Camberley next to the town's railway station. Dwell times for trains in the station are longer than usual, and for Ascot-bound services the crossing will not be lowered until about a minute or so before the train is due to depart if running to time. The crossing in its current form dates back to 2022 when a massive re-signalling project swept the area, replacing the previous set-up which was only in for about 15 years.

Nice one as always! Nice crossing, shame the old setup had to be removed. So many Newgate Crossings were just simply unnecessary. Also, considering Wokingham Station failed twice in a week as a Newgate crossing, not the most reliable now
That's intriguing, but unsurprising tbh, to hear. Wokinhgham was the only crossing that actually needed something sooner or later, however. I just don't understand why so much money was thrown at renewing crossings that weren't even in for 15-20 years, and probably never will.
@@SouthEastLevelCrossings I also don't understand why every crossing needs to have 4 alarms. Sunningdale was the only one that made sense for this manner. Also, the fact that they are all E2S Apello Sounders are just wasting many alarms. Cut Throat Lane and Rossett crossings would've been better off with the unneeded excess

I know of the new alarm at Cut Throat Lane, and really like how it sounds with the other 👌
