My Taiwanese brother-in-law was actually very disappointed when he visited and tried surströmming, he actually thought it tasted quite good and was hoping it would be incredibly disgusting, haha.
The flavor is actually quite good but the initial smell is 10x worse than stinky tofu.

I have to say all five food u mentioned here I had a same feeling before just back to the first year I moved to Stockholm. And then, things just changed😂 I am not saying I falling in love with them, but now I feel more comfortable when I eat them. Let’s wait another five years for u. 😅
