If I see a gimpsuit, it's an automatic assumption they're either one of the sweatiest people in the entire lobby, and/or a cheater. There's never any leeway for anything else.
The giveaway for me is how he just casually moves around. Every really good player that I've watched is constantly doing double takes & look backs to check their surroundings, especially to make sure they didn't miss someone behind them. This player did almost none of that.
Yeah, real players also hide a lot more. That person was just cruising out in the open for the whole game. People that have wall hacks do that since they know it’s safe out there.
I also noticed their camera placement. Not just looking down to check a building, looking AT something through the ceiling. Not looking over a hill they are climbing, looking through it.
Fall damage in general can be very inconsistent with items and fizz. Remember last season with Nitro Fists, how it's supposed to negate fall damage but you'll randomly just explode upon hitting the ground? I get the feeling this is the same thing, some variable for turning off fall damage just randomly elects to not swap off even under fizz/post-fizz fall rules.
16:09, you can see the aimbot stop working as he gets the kill. Instant snaps back to normal. I wouldn't be surprised if there was someone behind that mountain where the aimbot snapped onto. Edit: it did snap onto someone, most likely the person you can see at 17:36 orso
The Sloan skin took fall damage. This is an annoying bug. When the effect of Flow wears off inches from the ground, yoi take fall damage based on where you started falling, not when the effect wears off.
which is weird because it’s not even consistent. you can also jump off a cliff with 0.5 seconds of flow left and not take any fall damage even though you land without the flow effect. it makes no sense

I have been only playing since last season but have played a lot since then. I feel there is a lot of cheaters currently playing the game. I have reported 2 players since I have started but never heard anything about it. So maybe they weren't cheating, but one of them definitely had some amazing Aim just as this cheater did. Because you are a content creator they probably felt the need to ban the cheater you caught. Thanks for the content you make. It has definitely helped me to become a better player. I have 3 solo wins total and 2 are from this season after starting to watch your content. Thanks for busting a cheater for us.

Okay, so not your usual "spectating" topics, but spectating a cheater and getting commentary is a new spin and fresh. It always amazes me that people can be bad enough to want to cheat, desperate enough for confirmation that they cheat, so they cheat.....and in so doing - cheating in a GAME - they prove to themselves just how pathetic they are. And then they choose to ignore it. I think the cheater was swinging their pickaxe in the tunnel in the hopes that the spectator would be a friend and not report them. I'm glad you did.
Cheaters have ruined Fortnite. So has forcing crossplay. Console players are at an automatic disadvantage. Same thing that put the final nail into CODs multiplayer coffin.
How common are aimbot cheaters? I honestly don't even see how this could be fun for that long. I enjoy playing fortnite and challenging myself. If I had a way to snap my aim at any player, melt them and get a bunch of kills, takes away the fun for me. Another reason why I don't go out of my way to iron man gloves. If I find auto turret, I'll pick it up but that doesn't guarantee wins since it's only pelting a little damage each time. Also, been using shield bubble Jr's more and finding them to be incredibly useful. It throws other players off cause they aren't used to it. Using the pistol a lot more, too. Even uncommon pistol is pretty decent.
Ngl the dual uzi’s are brutaaal if you don’t use a shotgun, I always get indecisive with a shotty or smg for my secondary, and the uzi’s are a good one imo

Hi Jake, love the vids. I was playing ZB the other day. Saw two cars. Thought it was a chase. They stopped nearby. Both jumped out and set about killing me. Afterwards they got back in the cars and drove off. I have reported loads of cheaters this season.
Speaking of the Sovereign shotgun vs Gatekeeper. I checked earlier today and a purple Sovereign had more damage than a gold Gatekeeper. So you get 6 shots and more damage than a Gatekeeper. Only advantage Gatekeeper has is a quicker reload.

Question: What's the issue with not using a shotgun and cheating? I just started playing about 2 months ago, because my boys wouldn't stop talking about the game, and I never use a shotgun.
Shotguns dominate close range fights in fortnite not only because of being easier to aim but the high damage potential working really well when playing off any sort of cover in close range like you can peak for a very small window of time and deal very high damage and then go back to not being exposed. Even the players with the best aim in the world are using shotguns for close range so if you arent I would highly recommend doing so. This player not using a shotgun didnt confirm to me that he was cheating but it made me suspicious of them. Like I said even the best players in the world prefer shotguns but cheaters tend to not use them at all because if youre guaranteed to hit every bullet to the head anyways the spray weapons are actually better

I'm 40 and started ZB a few seasons back with my kids. I don't have the reflexes to keep up with the sweats in close quarters, but I still carry a shotgun. Bind your shotgun and secondary to your side mouse buttons and learn to love it. Nothing like a successful shockwave push with the gatekeeper after some crispy AR tags
the only way you can really take on a guy that's cheating this hard is getting a really lucky sniper shot, this season doesn't have snipers though, so I guess you just need to rely on this guy throwing as hard as he did
He'll be back in a couple weeks - Epic does nothing more than slap them on the wrist when it comes to reporting. Or sometimes nothing at all, I've reported several blatant cheaters in ranked and never gotten anything back.
This is why console players dispise pc players and why console people hate that fortnite basically makes you have to play crossplatform with pc players. I turned cross-platform off and FN said I must turn it back on for some reason plus matchmaking was pretty much slowed by 1000%.
If they are for sure cheating everyone who sees it should report them. Cheaters ruin the fun of the game and even ruin the game entirely for many. The cheating hackers can even make people stop playing fn or games altogether.

12:30 Fall damage while fizzed confirmed. I've also taken damage jumping off zips. Absolute BS.
Yeah, for fizz, it happens if you run out of fizz mid-air. It makes me paranoid about doing big jumps too long after using fizz.

I think that area is bugged, happened something similar to me. I was grinding on those cables near the bridge and jumped off, died to fall damage.

Fizz doesn’t wear off mid air. Go back and look. His head hit the mountain after he landed. It was milliseconds but that’s what killed him.

I ran into a similar situation where a player with a pistol shot me off 200 life points from far far away. I thought it had to be a cheater.
I have reported dozens of cheaters, never saw any action taken.

Tried a few games of ZB ranked recently. Even at the lower ranks there are cheaters. A real problem with the game at the moment.

You just started though. In Unreal ranked, it's sus. They're too good for up close fights.

reminds me of a player i spectated last season. Wiped a lobby with a tac ar, no shot gun. didn't take any of the mythics but had all 3 medals
