Excellent presentation. What would be extremely useful is to have the ability to separate codes linked to different documents. Is there a way to do that to current versions?

I think your presentation would be made better if you started with the "why" why are we creating code groups, why are we colouring codes. The WHAT is easy to explain, but if all your segments start with the what, you miss on the deeper meaning. Organizing has been stretched thin here.
Hi @mugweruwanji2904 Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate it a lot. In this case, code groups are used to organize the codes, for example, if you are coding texts from different regions, you can also create code groups by region and thus have everything more orderly, also, if you are coding feelings expressed in a transcript, you can create a group for codes expressing happiness and others sadness, this is also for code colors, you can for example set only one color for codes expressing happiness, etc. This is to give the researcher all possible tools to organize his codes and not get lost. In the ATLAS.ti 23 version we have also incorporated a code category that gives you two levels of hierarchy, for example you can create a category of gender, and there can be two subcodes male and female. The difference between code groups and categories is that a code can only belong to one category but to several code groups and can code with one category, you can find more information here: doc.atlasti.com/ManualWin/Codes/CodingDataBasicConcepts.html#coding-data---basic-concepts Also, we offer free webinars every week, you cna register here: atlasti.com/trainings In case you ever have any questions or comments, please count on our support 24 hours a day, 5 days a week via live chat, telephone, or email. We're happy to help, and we hope ATLAS.ti serves you well in your research.
