Honestly, Pokepark (the first one) is basically the only memory I have of my godmother, and Pokepark 2 was just my childish childhood (from 7 to 10 or something).

My only quip about the cancellation of the trio of games is that honestly, all of the content in B2W2 for example could have been put in one game, but because they'd only be working on one version, it would probably go by faster. And I think they know this, but the dual sequel setup makes more money, so they do that.

The lack of Pokemon Z was really odd. There were a lot of loose ends and no follow up to what the anime introduced (Zygarde's forms, Ash-greninja). They added these things to Sun and Moon, which just seemed really strange, like they were supposed to be in a Pokemon Z, but were thrown into Sun and Moon.
well Ash Greninja is obviously related to the anime although maybe having Pokémon with trainers charateristics could have been a concept for Pokémon Z. As for Zygarde's forms, they probably started working on them with the intention of a X/Y sequel, or third version, but who knows how much they were into the project before leaving the forms to the only anime. Anyway through XYZ we can see what the plot for Pokémon Z could have been
It can be that Z was dropped to finish development of Sun and Moon earlyer so they made a new Pokemon game when it reach 20 years

Actually we did miss out on something. I can't remember if it was a rumor or set truth but that you'd be able to get Reshiram, Zekrom, and Kyurem!
Personally i feel now that Pokemon is coming to the switch i hope they join every region in the game allowing you to live out and travel all of them graining all the badges in one sitting. I do hope it does a reboot of yellow where you follow Ash but like i stated before instead of stopping at kento they go on to the next then the next even adding one last region new to the game it self

Honestly, Nintendo dug the 64DD's grave themselves by moving all its games to cartridge format. Even if the hardware was outdated by the time it came out, it would have sold with Pokémon and Zelda games on it.

Pokemon Delta Emerald doesnt need to be a thing because nintendo added the delta story to omega ruby and alpha sapphire, so they kinda just added what would have been delta emerald as a post story

Hmm ive never played gen5. In this video i saw a girl with a ponytail and one with twintails. Are those the female player characters from bw1 and bw2? I thought bw2 were sequels, so shouldnt they be the same characters? Iirc customization was introduced in gen6, so i dint think you can change your hair in gen5?

pokemon green released in japan. So it isn't "unreleased" or "cancelled". The rest of the world did however get the remake of it with leaf green.

Pokemon Green was released, but only in Japan. In fact, a lot of Green's assets were used in the western releases of Blue and Red - Blue and Green shared the same Pokemon locations.

instead of making a sequel duo in white and black 2 or the new Ultra Sun and Moon, they could've just done the third game but instead of just making minor changes treat them how the ended up treating those duo sequels. I personally think Black and White 2 were a terrible thought and Grey should've been the third wheel game, but I don't agree with the third game always being just an enhanced version, that doesn't mean fix the mistake and then make another by releasing a useless fourth game
They could've done just a third but got money hungry and made two with slight changes but are getting twice the profit for no extra work

One game series they needed to continue was "Pokemon Gale of darkness."
Sadly it would seem that Cipher was defeated too completely in Gale of Darkness. Ardos was never able to revive Cipher because of that kid who took down the organization. Now Ardos could try to hire an assassin to take down the kid who was a thorn in his side, although Nintendo would probably never approve of it. If we are to get a 3rd game in the Shadow Saga it will probably take place between Colosseum & XD, as well as outside Orre.

I remember writing "I see Pokémon Grey in the future" on my trainer card in Pokémon Black a few months after the games came out. Fun times.
You should've at least mentioned Z more than that. And no, ORAS does *NOT* count as a replacement. After all, Fire Red and Leaf Green did not replace Emerald, nor did Heart Gold and Soul Silver replace Platinum. So that means that Z was simply completely left out and all that Zygarde ever has now is Sun and Moon where it spends the game being collected by the player to use in battle at best.

Grey was only speculated since trademarks for things don't always get used. The same for Z, and for the time being, I wanna say the same for Stars.

Absolutely love the gamecube rpg games. They were so so damn good at the time. And I’m sure still are. Time for me to plug in my old gamecube and play them again!
I'm not convinced we'll ever get a reboot no matter what I think of the idea. Gen I reremakes, sure, and in the West Purple might work well as a colour for that if they wanted to just have one version for it (which... Unless the Switch mainline game really changes the formula, hard, I doubt) (Though they seem to be going with virtual console releases rather than reremakes so far) - They've already tried to do soft reboots with Gen III (set at the same time as the Gen I games, no ability to bring pokemon from the past games into it, and so on) and Gen V (no pokemon from Gen I through VI until the post game, deliberately making the region more isolated from the older ones to support that) - Neither soft reboots stuck, with the older stuff being reintegrated back into the mainline games with the first remakes for Gen III, and for Gen V by the second games in the generation.

We didn't need Grey, Black and White were good games, deserving of sequels, X and Y however, were largely incomplete, had some major plotholes, and unexplained circumstances. Even the anime had an entire arc dedicated to Zygarde and one of the cores reaching his complete form at the end. We didn't get the Z we deserve, and on the flip side, Sun and Moon, games that felt largely complete, got not one, but TWO revised versions, and yes, they're good games, but it makes Sun and Moon feel like games that cheated us out of time and money, when USUM are just, better versions of SM, and there's two of them instead of the "Stars/Eclipse" everyone expected, which makes it feel like a move purely for the money.
Emil Borchert To me, Sun and Moon felt like they were rushed out and unfinished. USUM were released less than a year later, and *still* failed to fix the major problems of the first two games.

I think for a series, it's ok to adjust for today's generation but would need to keep the basis otherwise is it really the same thing? It's why I think so many people hate things like teen titans go because they adjusted for today's generation but didn't keep the basis and why we have things like the retail apocalypse because they kept the basis but didn't adjust for today's generation and economy

Pokepark, MysteryDuengon, and Pokemon Snap's trademarks were renewed in January and looks whats happened. Next week they said they had another big reveal, so Im betting its a PokePark remake/PokePark 3. Honestly cant wait for the next Pokemon presents! A PokePark with Kalos,Galar,and Alola would be great. And I hope gamefreak has their handsful working on more Pokemon SW and SH stuff, so Bandai Namco can make PokePark in the same engine and graphics as new snap.

Another way to organize all the pokemon is to make one HUGE pokemon game where you go through all the reigons one at a time.Once u catch all the pokemon including legendary (not mythical) u can move on to the next reigon.for each region their will be the mini games (safari, digging, surfing). once u have complete all pokemon leagues u can catch mythical pokemon. The big finally will be a all out battle with red and blue where lvl 100 pokemon are required. Thats my idea
Very hard to pull off when even in Gen 2, the level in Kanto had to be ridiculously high to keep the game challenging.
