I agree that Aim Assist is a blight upon gaming, and TF|2 has a lot of it (especially for the cretins that use controller). But the real problem is the aimbots that frequent it more than the aim assist. Fortunately, they're often bad, and the game is still quite fun.
@@anonymous63332 controllers are substandard when it comes to aiming... There have been tests in cs:go where console players were put up against pc players with neither side having aim assist The console players got heavily smoked, like they could barely compete without aim assist , there wasn't even a comparison. The gap closed a little when the console players were given aim assist, with the pc players still not having it, but pc players still outplayed the console team Then they tried giving both teams aim assist and it was observed that pc players played worse with aim assist on due to it screwing with their more precise control fidelity. TLDR: aim assist is statistically supported to be a crutch to make games playable for the average console/controller user. I've observed this in MCC for pc when plugging in a controller as aim assist turns off and on, on the fly based on whether you use mouse/keyboard or a controller. Aim assist works as a crutch for console players and a tripping hazard for pc players...
Mad respect for combining .exe montage vids with live reaction +drg music and making it work somehow?
I just mash things I like and enjoy together and hope it works. I stopped worrying about taking format too seriously with this one.
