well the thing about language certificates is that what we learn in school is rather technical. I've been learning French since I'm ten but when I went to France for an exchange I was very lost for the first month. In the end I was so much better but yes, you should definitely have B2 to go there.
I only have B1 ( I have already studied my last diploma in French) will it going to be hard for me to keep up with the courses and validate my exams???????? 😭
@saralola456 okay, so a little update. I'm currently actually studying in France, and I've gotten up to a B2/possibly C1 level before coming here for my studies. Its only the first week, but I would've struggled with a B1 level. BUT - they are really helpful, and it's not as bad as it seems! I'm sure you'd be fine if you just listen attentively and take notes :)
Hi Nora! Thanks for the vid. I've been thinking about the Sorbonne for a while. Now, I didn't do too well at school, unfortunately. Does that affect my intentions of getting a place into this University?
I’m in highschool. In my last year (I’m 18) but I will finish it in July-Agust, therefore I wont have my certificate until then. And you said that I have to apply since January or such. So how can I do that? Do i need to wait until the next-next year??
And if I have a master's degree in a certain field in my country (not EU) , do I have to study from the first year at the Sorbonne?! .. or I just have to study the two Master year ?!
depends on if your master's degree corresponds to what you want to study at Sorbonne. For example, if you have a Master's degree in literature, you can't study medicine with that at Sorbonne, so you would have to start at year 1!
@@Nora_A Okeyy, Thank u for answering me🙏, My field of study is "Molecular Biology" btw and I really want to study and obtain my master's degree in France but at the same time I don't want to start from first year cause I have knowledge on this field...also m new subscriber 😁 , ur videos are very helpful and clear❤️ Thank you ..
@@kinslayer_jx2168 Thank you so much! If I was in your place, I would call/email some French universities that I'm interested in applying to, and I would see with with them if they would take me directly in a Master's degree or if I would have to start from year 1.
Hi I have just applied for French university and they accepted me thank to god But the thing that is scaring me that I'm NOT THAT GOOD AT FRENCH A2 OR B1 Will it going to be hard for me to adapt with the courses and exams
hiii! do you know if i need the b2 to study computer science in Sorbonne? French is my mother language but i live in another country in europe (Spain) and i just found out i'm 2 days late to register for the b2... and the next one is in june so it might be extremly late to register to sorbonne...
How do I know if the course I am studying in my country is equivalent to what in French system. I'm in a Bachelor's in technology course in Data Science in India which is a 4 year course and I want to get into Sorbornne's Prob and Finance which is M2 masters. How do I know if my bachelor's is equivalent to BAC+4 or not?
I mean, don't we have to be smart and have good grades just in general to get into any university? 😅 To answer your question, I don't think you're obligated to have straight A-s to get into Sorbonne, but it's better to still have relatively good grades if you want to go there!

In the program description they mentioned total credits for M2 if you have that credits in your bachelor's, then you are eligible, simple🙂
