We loved this series!!!! So much fun watching the past few weeks. Love to see everyone’s opinion of Palo. We also love the brunch but def recommend both! Felt saddened by your leaving of the ship. Until the next adventure!
You need to do a side-by-side comparison of your faces in this video vs. your faces in the footage talking about your travel hiccups on the way to the cruise. Y'all have lost like 10 years apiece! Makes a Disney cruise worth it for just that. And, I'm so happy you got to meet our friend :). I love when amazing people we know meet other amazing people we know!
Actually cabanas is open on your last day. They don't advertise it. Just had breakfast on my cruise there and so has youtuber Michael Kay on Several cruises. However, It is very limited menu and space that is open at cabanas.
We ate Cabanas on Disembarkation morning twice and it was SUCH a time saver! We had a full hot breakfast at 6:30 and did express walk-off on our second cruise. Because of this we were able to take a much earlier flight home. It saved us eight hours.
I was going to comment also we always eat at cabana on embarkment day. We don’t care for fast pace of morning breakfast last morning in the mdr. Cabana does close at 9am for breakfast
When my family went on Disneys Alaska Cruise, my sisters family had the Walt Disney Room Suite. My daughter and I had an inside state room lol. We were lucky to be able to enjoy their room. It was filled with goodies and soda and water. It was beautiful. We enjoyed the large balcony watching the glaciers. It had 2 large bedrooms and three bathrooms. The living area was large had a large dining table, and couches which apparently turn into beds which they didn't use. We went with a couple of family memebers and had a large table in the dining area and since my sister had the suite we got extra care. It was wonderful. It was my second disney cruise loved Alaska it was my favorite.
Was really surprised Disney didn't dump a bunch of sand back onto the beach. you're right, less than half the beach is still there. Oh, and the Jet Boat ride was pretty cool!
@@LeggLife I have a feeling that if they were going to restore Serenity Bay they would have done it by now. We can hope though. Our next cruise is Alaska as soon as the 2nd half of 2021 is released.
If you go concierge one bedroom suite you get lots of room. I think the biggest plus for concierge is having access to the lounge and the staff who are super helpful.
LeggLife This is a link to a video on my channel of a handicap accessible one bedroom concierge on the Dream. Hoping the link will work if you are interested in viewing it. The room is very similar to a non handicap accessible room. My mother uses a walker so needed some of the features like a little wider hallway, ramps instead of steps, etc., plus we wanted to have the “call button” option for her in the bathroom, which is why we opted for the handicap room. We also really liked the one bedroom for not only the extra space, but the dining room table to eat at and the chairs. th-cam.com/video/qUOT7Mill9I/w-d-xo.html
I love meeting the people too- I love how you become like this family with everyone for the duration of the trip. You see a lot of the same people frequently. We were actually disappointed on our last cruise that we weren't sat with another family! I'd been hoping our older daughter would bond with another kid. But she spent most of the trip attached to me- was only willing to do the kid's club twice. Several years ago, during our Mediterranean cruise on the Magic before our girls were born, we met a British brother and sister set along with their mom that we are still friends with to this day! We cruised with them again about a year later when we went to Alaska, and I've met up with them at the D23 Expo a couple times. I've been on 4 Disney cruises, but the last time I was at Castaway Cay was in 2005, before I even met my husband, so I'm excited to return! (Our other Disney cruises were not Caribbean cruises) 4 months to go!
We always choose main dining, but instead of eating breakfast so early in the MDR, we eat a little later at Cabanas. That is certainly another option. 😊
So glad to see that there are lounge chairs back at Serenity Bay. When we were there last September, there were only the little chairs that sit low to the ground in the water.
I like brunch because I like smaller and variety also not missing a dinner. I do love that giant shrimp and calamari at dinner♥️ My husband likes dinner because of the service and it's more relaxed. We both agree that both are amazing 👍 we also enjoyed dinner on last night!
I've been signed off work by the doctors, and I've had the absolute pleasure of watching every single cruise video from this trip back to back today. You guys never ever fail to put a smile on my face, keep being awesome and amazing
So going to do the cup of ice cream idea! We'll be at Castaway Cay in one week two days! Our first time...(the weather prevented us from docking our last Disney cruise so praying for good weather!) The Tim Tracker mustache..neat...we'll look for sights like that, hidden Mickeys, & Adam hats!!!😁 Love y'all's vlogs!❣
Ummmmm.....so, I was just talking to my husband about Palo, and how Ihave no interest in paying for it. It's one of those things where if I got it for free, of course I would go. However, I just can't justify the cost. Cut to your dinner being placed in front of you and my mouth instantly started watering. What the what? I may have to re-think this.... Can't wait for your next Disney cruise.....cause I'll be on it. Yay! 🥳
I totally understand struggling to pay for Palo when there is already so much good food on the ship. Thats totally a valid argument. For us, the service and experience is so much above the other dining experiences on board that we absolutely don’t mind paying.
Yay, for Tim as well!! I absolutely love Castaway Cay, we are super excited for that. We have decided that our next cruise we will do Palo. This was an amazing day. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful vacation with us. Y'all are the best!!
Another wonderful vlog! I agree about the relationships. Our teen son just learned that a friend he made in vibe during our first cruise will be on our next cruise in September and they will see each other again. So exciting! We enjoy concierge and the one bedroom suite for our family of 5 and again the relationships we build with the concierge staff.
We went to castaway last September just after Dorian hit. All of the other beaches were fine but at the time there were no umbrellas or shade left as they were destroyed during the hurricane. From what they had told us was that serenity bay was hit the hardest and the other side of the island where the family beaches are was barely hit! Which is crazy to me! I loved watching all of these vlogs! So ready to go on another cruise!
I agree the saddest part of any cruise is seeing the luggage outside the door- any cruise, not just a Disney Cruise. Awesome vlog! :) Makes me excited for my cruise in 9 weeks.. OMG NINE. WEEKS! :-D
Adam what you should have done with your banana icecream was put between to cookies. oh my gosh. loved another one of your vedios . I'm sorry to see your cruise end.
Castaway Cay!!! Love that place! My favorite is the jet ski experience. So much fun! Chocolate Soufflé on the Disney Cruise is just unreal. Soooo good! Glad you guys had a great time!
Oh, I'm so depressed now!! LOL! One thing to note about Castaway - I mention because I've been caught off guard by this before - you have to charge to your room when you make purchases there. They will not accept credit or cash (I don't believe they take cash), room keys only!
So nice I got to see this after getting off our cruise. I can't count the days till October gets here for us to say we have done the grand slam. OMG I only have 107 subscribers so far but I got recognized by the person greeting people in front of the Cariloha Del sol store in Nassau now I understand totally how you feel. Love your videos

I don't know if they're trying to hide the fact that cabanas is open or what since there was nothing in the info we were given that said it would be open. And yet it was, so ha! Leisurely breakfast and early seating are possible!
This is what I was wondering about. We can't do late seating (my youngest would fall asleep during dinner if we did), but no way my kids will be up to eat by 6:45am. 8am they could do. I read somewhere else that Cabanas is an option but not advertised. Hoping to go there instead on our upcoming cruise. 🤞😁

oh if i haven't told you. I am legally blind. i have these goggles called iris. to help me txt. to help me watch tv . should we tell Disney about me being legally blind? this will be our first Disney cruise and first cruise since I lost most of my sight.

The viewer Cruise is the next cruise we have booked, but we have a BIG trip to Fiji in May, and we’re looking at other travel (and maybe cruise?) options for the summer :)
