Installed a Pro Series by myself a couple years ago. You just have to be creative and use a furniture dolly, maybe a floor jack and some lumber. The hanging cleat system definitely makes the job easier.
My Pro series 10 piece arrives tomorrow. I meant to buy off Costco but they ran out of my color so I went with Lowe’s and found them 1 day before their sale ended. ($2,549). Originally I expected a 3-4 week wait but was surprised when my shipping notifications came in. Looks like the whole process was maybe 5 days from online order to shipping arrival. I was about to go with Husky’s 20 gauge 81” x36” x24” style but you can’t beat 18 gauge.
Newage is currently 10 days behind my delivery window. I had to call them, wait on hold for 15 minutes, and was promised callbacks that never happened. Email case updates go unanswered for days. They have no idea the state of their own warehouse inventory nor can they get an update from their shipping partner. Caveat emptor.
Where is the best place to install electrical outlet for undercounter led lights? Did you install electrical outlet inside locker and make the connection to provide a clean appearance?
Ideally I would cut a hole in the upright cabinets and install an outlet there then you can run the light cable threw a small hole in the side. I havent installed the light because I dont have an outlet.
Thanks for the vid! I have a small area in my smaller garage. I am going with 2 pro drawer base's. Going to leave a 28" space between the two and add the 84" stainless top. I really need a workbench. This will be a really nice one. Going to add a vise on as well. Storage was already worked out with racks. Check out the Fleximount stuff. I put 2 4x8's in my big garage and 1 in my small garage. We can put so much stuff up high and out of the way. I also installed Primelights LED Stingrays. Unreal how good they are. Pretty sure they are OG's supplier. I noticed they looked exactly the same as mine and his box was from Tx as is the Primelight guys. I put 2 4 bulbs in the big garage and a 6 bulb in the small one. Couldn't be happier. Keep up the good vids! Interesting accent as well.
So I have a smaller, or “normal” size garage in my neighborhood home. I was looking at the Bold 7 piece set. Mainly for everyday tool storage, auto detail storage ect ect. Then I came across the pro series and of course, being a man, wanted that one. But for the every day guy, who is just looking for good, quality storage system, is the Bold series more than enough? Is the gauge steel still very sturdy? Thanks for everything
Great video. I ended up with the pro. What pegboard did you go with? It looks like metal 16" x 96" but wanted to get your feedback. Let me know. I was debating on trying to go 24 X 113 with the pegboard but would prob have to install first.
Hey thanks for watching! Pro is great! Here is my peg board system I love it I use it everywhere. Discount codes in all the video th-cam.com/play/PL9sSMM6QRH3bP0u6pKakwvL6FVD_DEAal.html
Hi Warrick, getting ready to start my next project but like all my projects I research the hell out of what I get. I want a 1 and done. Do not want to have to re-buy later because of issues, defects, wear and tear, etc. Review was awesome and the comparison was really helpful. But I could not find your install video so I am looking for assistance on install. My garage walls sit on the foundation a good 24". There is a bit of a lip, where the cabinets can rest on (about 2.5") I plan on bolting these to every stud and I believe NewAge also offers a bracket to mount the lockers onto a wall. So my question is, how are yours mounted on the wall? Are you using NewAge's wall bracket? Are lockers screwed into each stud? Are there multiple wall mounting sections? Although I have that lip, I believe 1 wall does not and therefore the concern of hanging the locker cabinet 24" off the floor with no lip to rest on. Thank you in advance and looking forward to your feedback.
Good Day. There are mounting holes all in the back of both the cabinets. I just used 3" lag screws into the studs. No lip for the shelves to rest on and no problem. Hope this help! @@GasTachs hey there, thanks for the video links. I see you have a small platform against the wall that the cabinets rested on. Mine will be similar but a lot smaller in thickness. I think you convinced me to go pro. Now I just need to price out the cabinets and layout configuration

Glad it was helpful. Mixing and matching could work but all depends on that you are mixing and matching as they are different size! let me know if you have more questions!
I didnt hear much about quality of Bold unless I missed. I realize the double vs single walled construction etc. I can fit either. I have cash but prefer to spend elsewhere if Bold is going to be awesome and hold up for years to come. I get the impression fgrom other reviews the Pro is a beast and bold can dent easy and can't hold much. Is this all false?
Yes Pro is a beast, bold does bend/dent easy but I work in my garage the old time i bend my bold was during install. So what it boils down to is... if you want more space and are hard on your things gets pro. if not Bold is perfect!

I just installed my pro series. I watched all your videos when debating what to get. Also, I installed it myself. Definitely feeling it the next day😂
Great! They are some heavy suckers! How do you like them?
@@GasTachs they’re great! I really like the pro series and it was a great purchase. I enjoy your content. Keep it up.

Sounds like you are building out a nice work space! Thanks for stopping by!
thanks for the video! Really like the pro just for the 24" depth sucks thats its double the price.
No problem. But I do believe they are double the value. Beefier, bigger, and good Quality
They are not double the price, never have been. That's incorrect. Currently the 36 inch locker is $819 for the Pro, $609 for the Bold.
Excellent comparison, thanks Warrick!
Xtalgic _ thanks, I’ll keep them coming and drop in a car video every now and then! 👍
Finally, this was my question! I'd love to see a comparison to Husky as well.
My goal is to do comparisons with all cabinet but since I'm self funded it'll take some time. Glad you enjoyed this one!
@@GasTachs Understandable. They're not exactly cheap. Thanks again.
Just starting to look into fixing up my garage. Are these USA made and do they offer drawers strong enough to ditch my toolbox?
These are made in China, both the Bold and the Pro. The Pro for sure is strong enough to ditch the tool box.
Allot of great information. I still need to order tools, flooring and so much more
