    This was so helpful, as I have struggled with getting the spacing right when using three separate strands hooked together. Thanks!

    Thank you for your wonderful videos. They are always clear and you do a wonderful job of explaining things. You have such talent and I have appreciated everything I have learned of perfected from watching TH-cam tutorials. I think the advertisements are fine, just a little bit of our time makes you money and keeps the content free to viewers. I pay a fortune for cable every month and have to put up with way more commercials. Keep the wonderful videos coming. Thank you and be well.

      Raymona Griffin thank you, I truly appreciate the support! This channel was monetized by you tube, I left their settings, it actually makes more money than my main channel, it’s settings has been the same for years. I never understood the difference until someone complained. But, I put the money to use buying beads and such...I think I will leave it as is. Thanks again for the encouragement.

    This is an amazingly helpful video. Not only does it show how to do it, but it makes it easy to use many different beads when you don't have a lot/can't afford some you want to use, so that you can fill the rest of the necklace with other beads, or by joining multi strands into one, saving a lot of money and weight of the bigger beads you might want to use.

    • @GGCBeginningbeaders
      @GGCBeginningbeaders  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you, yes, it’s all about using any bead you have or want to use. The technique works well with many sizes and shapes. Glad you like it.

    Very clever. I don't know why I did not blend the two wires into one at the clasp end, rather than look for reducers and spacer. Very clever way to finish off. Thank you!!

    • @GGCBeginningbeaders

      You can find them online, just search for slip lock clasp. Try Amazon, or firemountaingems.com or even budgetbeadbox.com ask Shirley in an email if she has some. They are not too hard to find. The bigger beading suppliers should have them.

    I have a 18 strand of beads that are tangled, do you know a way to get them straightened out again?

    • @GGCBeginningbeaders
      @GGCBeginningbeaders  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I, personally, would take them apart and restring. Otherwise, you just have to sit and untangle. Maybe take one side of the necklace apart, tape the ends, untangle, then put that side back together.

    Gina, I have bought number 1 and 2 beadalon crimp beads. They crack when I crimp them. What am I doing wrong?

    • @GGCBeginningbeaders
      @GGCBeginningbeaders  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Did you buy Beadalon? Many crimp beads are very thin and some are hard and brittle. They do not work well. Beadalon crimp beads have thicker walls and are soft and pliable when crimping. If you are using Beadalon and they are not working, try BeadSmith crimp beads, they are even thicker. Usually it is not what you are doing, it is the crimp bead you are using.

    Gina, what size crimp covers do you use for beading wire

    • @GGCBeginningbeaders
      @GGCBeginningbeaders  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends on your crimp size, it is easiest to get a mixed package and try them on to fit. I can not recall exactly what the sizes are in millimeters of the top of my head, but use a medium size with a size two crimp bead, a small with a size one and a large with size 3 or 4 crimp beads.

    Is your pointer finger on your left hand numb or useless ? You always have it sticking up, never using it to hold anything. It bugs me to watch that 🤷🤷🤷

    • @GGCBeginningbeaders
      @GGCBeginningbeaders  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Yes, actually the finger is numb and the first joint doesn’t bend, it was bit off by a dog and reattached. I cannot use it well so I move it out of the way, if it bugs you then don’t watch. I am getting tired of explaining this to you. You are making me feel very self conscious and that is ridiculous, I can do nothing about it.
