I'm struggling that if the bible forbid abortion, why doesn't it just say "Though shalt not perform abortions" instead of having such cryptic language that leaves us such a challenge to decipher it? And why would aborted babies go to heaven?
More and more people straw away from Gods word from man made created laws. It is not our job to control women or tell them what to do with their own bodies - we should not restrict choices because each case is different. Read John 8:1-11 for context. Let’s spread the love of Jesus and help foster more followers. Our job is not to Judge but to love one another.
I like the honest talk about abortion from religious people. I can poke some big holes in your arguments though. If you want to break down the definitions that will help with future conversations then maybe define terms you use freely like “child” and “baby”.
A good informative discussion of an important subject The bottom line is , as you guys pointed out, there is no defense for killing a baby, anytime for any reason. Thank you
Ok question answered. The Bible chose not to speak on abortion at all. God chose not to speak on the act at all in the entire law He gave to the Hebrew people, and Jesus never spoke on it at all either. So the entire abortion debate comes straight from the egos of man.
never thought about the inmates. good contradiction. innocent life vs. life in general. hmmm. the lord said it was him and only him to give life and take life. how are we enabled to prevent someone from making a mistake? it is not us Christians to enforce our beliefs onto our brothers and sisters, it is our duty to lead by example. problem is nobody wants to lead. they want to make law to enforce their beliefs so they can have a relaxed Christian upbringing. no work or faith involved. easy living situations. remember that it was always in the minority to be Christian even in Jesus days. we are supposed to be the beacons of light not the sun itself.
Proverbs 6:16-19 There are six things that the Lord hates, seven that are an abomination to him: haughty eyes, a lying tongue, and hands that shed innocent blood, a heart that devises wicked plans, feet that make haste to run to evil, a false witness who breathes out lies, and one who sows discord among brothers. Also Jesus says what ever you do to the least of these you have done to me. Matthew 25:40
Matthew 25:40 is taken out of context here. Matthew 25:31-40 is an entire parable wherein Jesus specifically says to feed the hungry, give drink to the thirsty, offer shelter to strangers (immigrants), clothe the naked, and visit those who are sick and imprisoned. Do you do those things?
@@ChristyCallahan Jesus point was what ever good you do to others you have done to him especially the least of them, it’s not just about clothing and feeding people it goes way beyond that with his greatest commandment that we love one another, can we Love at the same time when we kill?

The safest place in the world for a child should be a Mothers Womb.
I liked this talk but your title suggests what the Bible says about abortion and you provided very little scripture. Maybe have a part II?

What about rape or incest or to save the mothers life

Don't forget mixing seeds planted in the ground and fabric blends. Also abominations.
God isn't real

lot's of "sort of's"
What about condoms?
Firstly, you should not do to hokey pokey without being married. Secondly, I don't think condoms are bad
Don't worry mate, you won't be 'spilling your seed' on the ground. So it's all good!
