Agreed, Douk Audio I think does a little better job with these inexpensive chi-fi amps then some competitors that basically use similar parts. But I can testify, that my ST-01 Pro kicks A$$ with just two Elac dbr62 Reference speakers. Movies, music, incredible Bass, balanced tone, great mid-range. Shakes the couch... These amps are fantastic deals. Note; I did upgrade the tubes to the GE Jan 5654W, like the ones shipped with this unit. The tubes make a noticeable difference. Very good preamp tubes. Very good sound, very good amp. I get plenty of power from the TPA 3250 Texas Instruments chip in the ST-01 Pro amp. The 55 chip in this new amp has even more kick... The sound quality is very close to my $5,000 tube amp, just not quite as loud. But loud enough... Thanks for the video.
I feel the tubes are PreAmp , Love the review, Haven't tried yet will get in the D Discord always ready to support a good cause.... Keep up the amazing work!!!
I've got the ST-01 with Voshkod Rocket tubes. Honest review since "upgrading" to the T6 Pro and using the same tubes is it lacks midrange, noticeably so. The ST-01 sounds way more well-rounded, albeit less powerful. Some of the midrange sound is oddly muffled/recessed, some instruments that I could hear on the ST-01 sound distant with the T6. Initially, the T6 is inherently pretty bright sounding. Its marketed as a "Bass" amp however the ST-01 produces far more rich bass to my active subs and far better clarity to my secondary amped speakers via its Aux out. The audio via aux out sounds dull on the T6. I'm listening using the RCA inputs primarily, Bluetooth using LDAC sounds better than what you're used to. I'll give it some time, the amp is on its first few hours of play. I did A/Bing of the 2 amps, no question that the ST-01 is the clear winner here in terms of sound quality. Furthermore, I can't recommend anyone buying the T6 unless you are looking for bright loudness and don't care about richness and fidelity. After fooling with the knobs for some time, I couldn't get the amp to come close to the ST-01. The T6 has to go back...its not for me. Mind you, I keep the ST-01 nearly at the 12 O'Clock (12:30) position for Bass and 12 O'Clock for Treble on a completely flat EQ. I was wondering why the T6Pro lacked youtube reviews other than ones by the manufacturer(and this one)... I know why now. Douk Audio, you did it right when you made the ST-01! All you had to do was upscale that exact design and you would have a winner! Don't change what works well. The amps were fed using my Asus Essence STX soundcard with x3 Sparkos opamps and streaming using Tidal on Max 24 bit 192 Khz
Thanks for the info. Agree, my ST-01 Pro sounds fantastic with the upgraded tubes. Very close to my $5,000 tube amplifier. People will not believe this, but many people have never even heard a good tube amp for comparison. So I know what I am hearing 😊. Using Elac dbr62 Reference speakers.
I was noticing that manufacturers are using obsolescent components, I noticed this in some equipment from aiyima and douk too, I don't know why, I believe it is because of the price and not being expensive to manufacture and also the final price of the product.
So, the claim of 300 watts; the tubes are input gain/preamp/buffer into class D chip amp. This also explains the 24-48 voltage changing the output potential; just like every other Chi-Fi class D chip amp. This is just an educated guess, but those tubes are NOT pumping out anywhere close to even 10 watts; so, I'm 99% sure that I'm correct about this.
It is a very top and beautiful amp, but they didn't put any digital inputs on it and they also didn't put a remote control on it, which ended up making it inferior to other models like those from AIYIMA.
This unit is very similar to the popular Aiyima T9, but with a pair of larger VU meters! I'm using Douk U4 as BT receiver and Douk E6 as a preamp and they are doing wonder in my system! Another streamer I would recommend is the Wattson Emerson Analog or Digital, Together with Aiyima A08pro, they formed a formidable setup that amazes many seasoned audiophiles!
The Aiyima amp originally serves as a filler amp before my next targeted upgrade, but it's still staying as of today... After listening to hifi for more than 50 years, seen and hear enough, yet these Chinese amps totally changed my mindset!
I do have Dynaudio Heritage Special speakers in a small to medium room and these speakers need a lot of power. Small room or not. So it is very crazy to have a Rotel X5 in a not to big room on these speakers. I could get away with an X3 easely but then again for a bit more money i could get this beast of an amplifier. It runs like as easy as it gets. But that is me, i choose speakers that love lots of current.😅
Now just make the branding less ugly and cheap looking and include a high pass adjustable filter. These chifi companies "almost" make the product we all want but they "always" leave out that 1 thing and that one thing is always a different thing on every product.

It uses the DAC in the QCC5125 Bluetooth chip. Probably not bad, but ...

For the technical laymen, the tubes are only for the sound as preamplifier support!

exactly this Douk T6Pro plays with a Hifi 48V 10Ampere power supply. He rocks so confidently, the mouth of others remains open at the audio sample.

Cool options at all prices.
So is the aux output level variable via the volume knob, or fixed?
It appears to be fixed. They do have a new amp coming out in a week that has volume for both. Keep an eye out for my review on the A100 amplifier. ;)
How long til it goes down? Use it for awhile, and throw it away?

I dont follow... Stereo "Sound".. It is a stereo amp
