I don't know who edited the photo ad for Biles on this video but the sexualization of her genitals is both disgusting and sick. But for Gymnastics Journal to have this picture represent its magazine is an embarrassment to the sport and a sexist insult to Biles.

Why choose that awkward and almost too revealing picture of Simone for this article. So many other shots would have shown her skill and talent for that routine. Simone has 37 medals from the World Championships and the Olympics 27 Gold 4 Silver 3 Bronze and could be the first American woman to sweep all 6 Olympic medals and only the 2nd Woman Artistic Gymnast to achieve that feat behind Daniela Silivas in Seoul South Korea in 1988 and if she does so it puts her in 2nd place for most Olympic medals 13 only behind Soviet era legend Larisa Latynina who has 18 medals 9 Gold 5 Silver 4 Bronze between 1956 & 1964 and only the 2nd African American Gymnast to make the Olympic Team 3 times after Dominique Dawes did so in 1992 1996 and 2000 though Dawes only won 4 medals 3 Bronze 1 Gold Team all around Bronze in Barcelona and Sydney Floor Exercise Bronze in Atlanta and Team All Around Gold in Atlanta aged 19 years 8 mos. ages are swinging back to what they were before 1968 granted min age to compete until 1996 was 14 was 15 for the 2 Olympics Following and eventually was raised to 16 for Beijing in 2008 Shawn Johnson for ex was 16.5 when she competed in the Olympics in Beijing in 2008 the youngest American Woman figure Skater to win Gold in the winter Olympics was Tara Lapinski in 1998 15 years 8 mos.
She actually has five silver and bronze medals if you’re counting both Olympic and World medals. Larissa Latnina competed during a time when the world championships were only contested every four years do she didn’t have the opportunity to win as many medals. With that said it’s amazing that Latnina held the record for the most medals for as long as she did. The sport has definitely evolved and now it’s Simone’s time.

Above everything else, Simone is a testament to the value of discipline, dedication, and mental toughness. Yes, she has natural gifts. But you don't achieve this level of greatness without a lot of hard work!! If you're a fan of women's gymnastics, soak up every moment of these genius performances. A phenomenon like Simone Biles only shows up on earth once in a great while.
It was so shady to put Gabby in the thumbnail. Gabby went through so much hate in her career over her hair and then simone came along everyone forgot about Gabby. She was treated so bad but I love her

Simone Biles is a phenomenon she literally changed the future of gymnastics!!!! I would love to see her in person but I can’t afford too. I did gymnastics for 7 years and the way she tumbles is insane she gets so much height it like she has wings and flies through the air.

This young lady is an amazing example of 99.9% perfection. The balance of 0.1% has no description. Her dedication to the profession has caused many to attempt to emulate her drive. Today in this moment of time, she is untouchable. As far as her future is concerned IF she ever retires I see a line of clothing bearing her name, I see her becoming a trainer for young gymnasts (in Simone Biles studios), she may even consider becoming a motivational speaker, she has no limits. Simone, stay grounded and focused, the world is yours.
