I need to wait for it to calm down on my skin, then it gets very addicting, sweet and lovely. It smells a bit like very expensive incense. After a few hours the vanilla becomes louder and envelops you in a hypnotic cloud.
I LOVE MIDNIGHT POISON ! I inherited a half used bottle from my mom. Searching for a good dupe but haven’t found one yet…I also love the original poison as I love strong scents. Pure poison is great for after the shower/before bed
The best dupe you could possibly find is from The dupe spot in Melbourne Australia. I can't afford the real deal and it's absolutely AMAZING!! Only just recently found them, and they have all my old favourites 😍

I saved up my wages aged 17 in 1987 to buy my first bottle of poison oh I was so thrilled with it ! I felt so grown up , lots of people hated it I remember, but I just loved it , then in 1994 I got tendre poison I adored it , i so wish they would bring it back , then I had pure poison another beauty , I currently only have hypnotic poison , time to go shopping again I think ! 😂 great video Gabbi xxx
Beautiful collection. I wore Tendre Poison in the 90’s and wish they would bring it back. It was a lovely fruity green but warm floral that was very uplifting and perfect for the office to happy hour. Miss it abs would love to smell again. Maybe one day. Thank you for sharing. ♥️

Although our climate in Bahrain (generally) is hot, still I am able to enjoy Dior Poison (the reformulated 2010 era) during our colder months. I find her very alluring, seductive, dominant, bewitching, fierce, thrilling, a huge compliments' magnet and a 360 degree head turner (as you mentioned in your other video). Obviously I am totally infactuated with Dior Poison. I personally did not or could not find any other fragrance similar to her. Love your accent.
Wonderful coverage of all the Poisons. Tender Poison was my signature fragrance as a teenager in the 90s. My stepmom wore the OG Poison, and because I loved it so much and she didn’t want me to wear her signature scent, she purchased Tender Poison for me. I loved it! The current formulation of OG pillar Poison is a distant echo of the grand dame that the 1980s and 1990s version used to be. It’s rather a terrible shame but there are far too many beautiful perfumes in the world to spend time on mourning these losses.

Dior Poison fragrance are very addictive, I’ve been wearing Hypnotic Poison a lot, and even though the longevity isn’t great, I just keep reapplying it! Pure Poison could definitely be a signature for me, so delicious!! You can’t go wrong with any of Dior’s fragrances!! 😍🥰🍎

I need Midnight Poison to complete my collection (I did not like the Tendre version) but the prices seem astronomical on Ebay but I am not giving up x...I had the original along with Poison when it first came out but did not replace them when they ran out as I usually only had a couple of fragrance. A bit different from the 150 plus bottles I have accumulated in the last 3 years after accidently starting to watch fragrance reviews and caught the perfume bug lol

I've got 50 ml of Midnight Poison in November or December (before Christmas) 2007 from someone who got it as a gift but did not like it. Also later I've got sealed 30 ml of Pure Poison Elixir and 200 ml Dior Addict body lotion from Sears. Later I got the original 50 ml Dior Addict EDP and 50 ml Dior Addict To Life from a drugstore. I have never even tried them. I am rather a collector, keeping all my fragrances in their boxes on the floor of 2 closets away from the sun and heat, and only using some of them on my clothes and bed sheets. Because before late 2007 I considered spending a lot of money on fragrances unreasonable. And since late 2007 I started buying them for a reasonable price.

I tried Tendre Poison Dior body lotion and loved it. I have read some fragrance reviews suggesting that Cabotine Gres EDP resembles Tendre Poison, but more flowery and greener, when TP's drydown keeps the sweetness of vanilla and slightly woody. Not the EDT. I saw only Cabotine Gres EDT in stores.
I tested the first Poison, not the original at the fragrance counter about 5yrs ago and didn't like it at all. But noses do change and appreciate frags we didn't care for at some point and so I'm going to try again soon. Although I don't know if I should give the vintage Poison a try first. I own Hypnotic Poison edp and edt along with a vintage edt which I adore. I do love Hypnotic Poison. I also own Tendre Poison, I love green note frags, and Midnight Poison which I don't even want to wear because I don't want to use it up :( I own the newer and vintage Pure Poison and Poison Girl which I love love along with Girl Unexpected, this one being my least favorite. I've been wanting to get my hands on the Sensuelle flanker, but it has been a no go :( I do love Dior.

I went to buy hypnotic poison and couldn't get my head around it, it used to be my signature scent so I know how beastly it was and now it's almost as if it became a totally different perfume, very weak and a shadow of what it was.. Which version of Poison is most similar to Memoir Woman? Also, when I look up Poison on google, i.e. what's currently being sold at discounters and retailers, some bottles appear to be green and some appear to be purplish. Has there been a recent reformulation and/or repackaging? Your answers would be much appreciated.

I have had Hypnotic Poison on for over 10 hours, taken a shower... and the scent is still there. Not as strong as when you put it on but still there. So... I'm not sure why it doesn't last for you. Maybe the formula loves my body chemistry???
Do you find that the scent for hypnotic poison has been preserved over the years? I know you have emphasized that longevity and silage has been affected but I’m curious whether or not the scent is the same?!
Have you noticed any difference between vintage pure poison and the newer one in terms of projection/longevity? Now that your vintage is 18 years old is it still outperforming the newer one in projection and longevity? Thanks :)

E Bay has plenty of vintage ones. Check the pictures and,ask for a batch code it's on the bottom. Look up batch code checker on Internet and it should tell you the year it was produced!

I would say its damn near spot on. The best season is autumn or spring but I say if you're in the mood wear it then!

I'm 27 almost 28 and I own and love Hypnotic Poison edt and Poison Girl edp. They're the most beautiful designer fragrances I've tried and I can't get enough. Also I do want to try Midnight Poison but it hurts that it is so expensive.

I went to buy hypnotic poison and couldn't get my head around it, it used to be my signature scent so I know how beastly it was and now it's almost as if it became a totally different perfume, very weak and a shadow of what it was.. I ended up getting Coco Chanel instead

I'm very interested in familiarizing myself with the Dior Poison line because I like Amouage Memoir Woman, and I've heard Poison is similar to Memoir Woman. Which version of Poison is most similar to Memoir Woman? Also, when I look up Poison on google, i.e. what's currently being sold at discounters and retailers, some bottles appear to be green and some appear to be purplish. Has there been a recent reformulation and/or repackaging? Your answers would be much appreciated.
I would say original poison but if I'm honest, amouage memoir is epic comes close to it!

I have had Hypnotic Poison on for over 10 hours, taken a shower... and the scent is still there. Not as strong as when you put it on but still there. So... I'm not sure why it doesn't last for you. Maybe the formula loves my body chemistry???
Yes it might be my skin. If I moisturise it lasts longer. I still enjoy it though just overspray 😃

E Bay has plenty of vintage ones. Check the pictures and,ask for a batch code it's on the bottom. Look up batch code checker on Internet and it should tell you the year it was produced!
