In The Sun is an old school Florida orange blossom style scent with a bit of sandalwood. It smells nothing like a sunscreen as they just don't use orange blossom flowers/neroli which is just another name for orange blossom flower water or sandalwood to scent SPF's.
Props to Jake for going back! Normally, I feel like the associates just give you the discount if the item, especially if it's an entire display, is misplaced. Glad it worked out in the end friend!
I used to wear sea island shore back when it was sea island cotton all during college. But yes it is a strong scent!! That's crazy the store employees couldn't even get the sale items straight! Way to cause lots of confusion I'm sure for the customers at checkout! 😮
Hi Kami! Happy New Year!!! I shopped the sale twice so far and I'm happy with my purchases. I always tell people to be careful when shopping the bins as sometimes you will find items that are not supposed to be in there. Here in Canada there are no prices listed on the packages like in the U.S. However, there are signs everywhere in the store. I had incident with associates putting a couple of the red bins full of Champagne Toast in the the new packaging for $4.95, but they were ringing up at full price. The associates meant to put older packaging of Champagne Toast. They ended up honoring the $4.95 to me which was nice. The associates at my local store are so sweet and very helpful. Luckily, the price points in Canada faired better overall for the first few days which is when I did my shopping.
I found the same with in the sun, it was a bright citrusy, like you say almost bubbly, blast when you first spray it but then once it all the way dried down, then it smelled a lot more like sunscreen to my nose!
I went Sunday and got some goodies went to pink/vs got some goodies and walmart my store was packed hardly anything left I wanted some soaps were sold out but I got some other ones I got 3 of the throw backs I liked and my husband found me a couple room sparys I loved it am done until my anniversary on valentines day saving my money I got sone more paris amour in the pink packing I wanted also
I went on day 3 of the sale with my aunt I got 3 full size mists and 3 mini mists and also the cute polar bear backpack. And my aunt got 2 body washes 2 lipglosses and a gold bag
i just placed another order im Very excited for the malibu heat coconut lime burbina berry cupcake bellini i think thats what its called and and the pink paradise

I’m not an apple girly. I love sunscreen scents but unfortunately have to pass on In the Sun bc I have 4 Getaway Soirées (that was my #1 fave scent of 2024). I loved Coconut Verbena and might get it but it faded on me after an hour when sampling it in store.

This semi annual sale kinda sucked. They came out with a few good scents but they didn't start them off on sale like they usually do,alot of stores ran out of either the mist, lotion or wash really fast. I guess its good for bath and body works not having to much stock. There are really no surprises because of the return policy at least I think thats why and they sell bags for five dollars to the workers so they dont have much stock from prior seasons.
Usually I have very great associates, this time not so much 🥲❤️ I’m sure they don’t have the nicest customers so I try to give them grace! The manager was helpful and solved the issue, so I’m glad it was solved :) I’ve worked in retail so I get it can be hectic, but I’ve never been rude to a shopper :( thanks for watching!!
