動畫分析：
慈悲的悟空使用眼神通（作過鬥戰勝佛緣故），讓老牛看見五百年前大鬧天宮與
五百年後西遊取經老牛阻礙及掀起家裡一本難唸經，看見過去世的因緣情景。
老牛被砍頭，生命結束轉世輪迴，所以不記得與悟空以上的故事。
悟空西遊取經後，作當鬥戰勝佛，後來放棄長生不老佛位，想回花果山終老，但事與願違，曾經傷害老牛生命及妻離子散，如今得承受果報。
因為這樣策劃的天庭二郎神也知道，悟空持不殺生戒，不殺老牛，所以利用老牛軍隊最後結束了悟空生命，償還命債，老牛成了被埋在骨裡的『大義滅親』。
