They “don’t get the hype” because they don’t want to. That’s all it boils down to at this point; they hate the level of praise and success she receives, but no one can name an objective reason as to why she shouldn’t have it. So they just call her overrated in effort to cope with their lack of understanding of why she’s so special to people.
