"A little disrespectful" that he wouldn't find time to help her move. No, he was an outright selfish jerk who was deliberately making himself unavailable. He couldn't take that step of commitment. He's not just a momma's boy, he's a self centered, immature jerk, period. Glad she got away from him. Kelly seems to be a really down to earth girl and she deserves a lot better.

Peter was probably the most flakey and confused bachelor, I don’t even think he was intentional or cruel in his flippant behavior. His mom screwed him up long ago, made it so he could never make decisions for himself. Narcissistic/authoritative parenting is seriously damaging when the kid grows up and is expected to know independence when they’ve been smothered their entire life!

Plus Peter told her that the producers made him think she didn’t want him, and so he was “pulling away from her during filming”.
