0:44 this is not true, been trying to catch a hungry slime several times but there is just way too much people at the same time. And the chance you get the pet is so small. Really frustrating you can't switch channels, everybody is packed at the same place. Just go to "Sylvan Woods Trail" for example and find a slime there.
Just leave the map and find hungry slimes in a regular map
TIP FROM MASTERHAND - IF YOUR STUCK ON THE PET QUESTS JUST GOTO YOUR PET MENU AND SEE WHERE HUNGRY SLIMES ARE IN THE WILDY YOU DONT HAVE TO PACIFY A SLIME ON THE QUEST MAP... YOUR WELCOME...

Thank you for the video! I have a couple questions - should I only be fusing pets together that are the same level (fusing a lv 1 pet with another lv 1, fusing a lv 2 pet with another lv 2, so on and so forth)? Would fusing a lv 2 into a lv 1 give it more experience than a lv 1 into the lv 1 (so like, if I find a pet with a better rarity than one I've already leveled up, would it be beneficial to fuse them)? I watched Maple Weeb's video, but he talked more about rarity than about pet level, so I wasn't sure if it mattered. Thanks in advance!

i tried to throw my candies at monster in a map but it did not work. it did nothing. I dont understand how to get pet outside of the tutorial
The monsters need to be hungry. Can't be normal mobs
They have to be small green named and have the word ''hungry'' infront of its name
When you combine pets with Fusion, is there a maximum level pets can have per tier? I can't find any information anywhere about it. :(

There's no enemies. It's like when something is docile im not allowed to set traps
You lured it in with the candies before you drop the trap right?

If you try to put a trap inside the circle around a hungry pet, it won't let you put a trap down. Get out of the circle first then set the trap
Caught a buncha pets, looks like that was the problem. :) I'm not allowed to set a trap on top of them. My hero.

Do you mean the history? Pets have been in MapleStory for as long as I can remember.
The few ways to get the pets in ms2 are in the video and description :)

Pets can be used for a few things.
Inventory pets dont attack or give you stats but work like a portable chest
Combat pets give your character stats and they also fight with you
Pets can revive you when you are knocked under a tombstone unless its metal
Pets auto loot and auto potion for you as well.
