Did you follow the part of the tutorial which shows collision and the sorts? 5:21 in the video should have it. If that does not work, make another Active object and apply the same part of code to it with the character Make sure your player is selected and not the Active Object itself, or possibly another different one
@@redshadowxd I could make a different video for this, but some other possible way to get it to work correctly is that to create a backdrop/background object and go into it's options, set it as an obstacle and add some collision onto the player whenever they collide with a backdrop element. Just the first thing that comes to mind ; I could make a video on how to

So I do the same thing you do to turn on the collisions but right here 5:37 Im not able to select to stop movement
Make sure you have platformer selected on your Player, on 3:26 and that it's an Active | Try that first -

Try pressing the shift key when holding down one of the arrow keys. That worked for me.

When your doing the "Test position of Active" with the collision, try unclicking the top part of the frame area.
