Hiking VOLCANOES NATIONAL PARK in Rwanda: Mount Bisoke

Mt Bisoke is a volcano that stands at 3711m, in the border of Rwanda and Democratic Republic of the Congo. Its crater contains a beautiful lake. I will not exaggerate when I say this is one of the hardest one-day-hikes I have done in my life.
It took us around 8 hours to ascend and descend the 1100 meters through a hell of a path. It was so muddy that we ended up with our buts on the mountain a few times. Fortunately we employed some porters to take our things up/down. I can't recall a better investment of money than on these useful locals which helped to go through the difficulties. The descend was so bad, I did not take a single picture, I needed both hands to maneuver this path from hell.
