I just finished 75 Hard 2 days ago!! In my honest opinion, if you feel like you are overworking your body and it's been yelling at you to slow down and rest more, I would 100% not recommend starting that right now. It burnt me out like crazy and I felt my body was miserable bc it couldn't rest at all no matter how sore or exhausted I was and it put me in an even more stressed state. It was great for mental toughness, but maybe wait until your body feels more rested before you jump into it! Just wanted to share my insight from doing the challenge bc I'm the kind of person who is always go, go, go and love working towards goals and challenges but this was too much and my body did not need that hahaha. If you do it though, good luck! I'm sure you would crush it :)
I am super interested in starting 75 hard but making small changes to make it more doable/enjoyable! The 75 soft challenge includes one rest day a week where you just stretch or go on a walk and I’m super into that!
I’ve considered trying that 75 hard…but some of it is definitely unrealistic for my life. So I’ve also considered making my own version…if that makes sense. Like, sometimes in IL it’s like -20 below…and I’m not going outside for a workout in that weather lol…but I I could do some form of workout if I can’t go outside…and also, maybe like only allow 2 drinks a week? Or something like that? Maybe make your own version. One that works for you. Because I’m the type of person if I start something, and mess up one day…they I give up. Idk if that helps.
no i love that idea! I was thinking the same sort of thing, tweaking it a little bit to better suit a lifestyle that will still allow a sense of balance and enjoyment!
@@laurensnyder yeah, because you don’t want to set yourself up for failure, it makes it less enjoyable. Plus most things are good in moderation anyway, and not everyone’s the same…so I don’t think it’s feasible for everyone to follow the same thing. Plus, you already live a healthy lifestyle so there are some things you might need to focus more on rather than 2 45 min workouts…you already usually workout everyday…and you go on your walks…where as someone else struggles with that part. Idk, I just think it’s ok to tweak it. 75hard-ish 😂

I love that you’re listening to your body. I really need to try oak essentials.
