    Andrei,
    It’s a very lazy analysis of Serbia, and its president’s stance on the geopolitical situation in the wide region. I’ll assume that you didn’t see the interview in question. Serbia is a land locked country by NATO and yet still didn’t pose sanctions on Russia despite all pressure. A little bit of respect please. Don’t comment that from the point of arrogance. Everyone knows that Serbia is not important country.

    At 23:10: One of the things that happened (in this peace summit in Switzerland) was the president of Finland complaining about that Russia invaded his country during WWII and captured 10% of its territory. And he didn't mention that they (the Finns) were helping Nazis, that they were supporting Nazis in that war (in fact they fought with them, until they switched side in the end of it), and right after the war Russia returned that territory to Finland. ~ Nima R. Alkhorshid
    At 24:44: They lied, that's what they did. The Cold War was about rewriting WWII. They continue to do it today, and the US officially is supporting now the Azov Battalion (actually the whole structure including intelligence consists of Nazis). They support Nazis! ... The West is done, it's over. ~ Andrei Martyanov

      The British Halford John Mackinder believed that whoever controlled Eastern Europe - the Heartland - would control the world. The Polish Józef Piłsudski followed up with his Intermarium incorporating territories lying between the Baltic, Black, and Adriatic Seas, mainly Eastern Europe, hence the name Intermarium (Latin for "Between-Seas"). And the Nazis also had this "Drang Nach Osten" (the "yearning to the east", or Lebensraum as it was called during Nazi Germany).

      Intermarium complemented Piłsudski's other geopolitical vision, Prometheism, whose goal was the dismemberment (splitting up) of the Russian Empire.

    Andrei is funny to listen to but is one giant walking contradiction. In one breath he declares how Russia speaks to everyone as an equal and does not force themselves and their values upon them and them immediately after insults various countries and says how they are beneath Russia.
    He sings high praises about the Soviet Union and now Russia, yet is a Russian who grew up in the Soviet Union, now living in the USA and from what he has said, has no plans to go back to Russia.
    I partially grew up in a Soviet satellite country and know people who grew up in the Soviet Union.
    I know that life in the Soviet Union was not like what people were told in the USA. There was a lot of internal American anti Soviet propaganda.
    That said, life in the Soviet Union was pretty bad.
    I also know that what I was told in history classes was Soviet propaganda for the years after the Soviet Union was formed. Nothing about Soviet aggression was taught. Soviet Union was presented as a benevolent player.
    However, tsarist Russia did not get that treatment.
    Hearing Andrei's perspective on history, I strongly suspect that he still believes what he was taught brewing up in the Soviet Union. His view of history is skewed from reality that I cannot see another explanation.
    Neither tsarist Russia nor Soviet Union were peaceful nations.
    His do you think Russia got to be the biggest country in the world?
    Do I want Russia broken up? No.

    I hear all the criticisms against Trump, and I am not blind to the dynamics going on right now.
    However, there is one thing that I don't think is currently faked: the lawfare against Trump and his supporters.
    Sure, there are those black-pillers who think that it is all useless and there is nothing that can be done, that it is all a show for the easily bamboozled, etc., etc.
    I don't care for that point of view, and I see Trump as currently being the only option available, despite his views on Israel.
    Great evil has come about in the US:
    [Covid lockdowns and forced vax, the installation of the current regime, the destruction of free speech, the invasion over the southern border, the corruption of every institution of the US, etc.];
    Ukraine:
    [overthrow of government in 2014 by the US, the fact that Biden ran the country like an emperor during the Obama admin, the growth and support of n*zism, war against the Orthodox Church, jailing of opposition politicians and journalists, the installation of totalitarianism, the press-ganging of Ukrainian men off the street, etc.];
    and Israel:
    [genocide against the Palestinians, total lockdown in the USA of any criticism of Israel, the fact that 99% of all politicians in the USA are on the AIPAC payroll, the fact that the US press is completely co-opted by the Israel lobby, the fact that Mossad has files [some provided by Jeffrey Epstein] on everyone in Congress and Hollywood, etc.].

    Nima got it wrong, Finland did loose territory to the Soviet Union, Finland was fighting the Soviet forces in 1939 the winter war before Germany attacked the Soviet Union, up until this point Finland was being armed by western countries, such as the UK. Then came the continuation war, when the Finns aligned with the Nazis forces as the Soviets had become allied to the western forces fighting Germany and were rearmed by Germany. All you have to do is look at a map of Finland pre 1939 then again after 48. Yes Finland's biggest mistake was getting involved with the Nazis, who they ended up fighting against to drive the Nazis out. Finland's second capital Vyborg to this day is in Russia and in the north Nickel which has never been returned. Note: my farther was based in Finland 1947/48 with the UK's general staff along with other allied force for the signing of a peace treaty.

      Not true. Finland was a part of Swedish kingdom. Peter the Great fought Swedes 3 times and finally won in 1703. As the result Sweden gave the South Karelian territory with Finish gulf to Russia. In return, Peter signed the decree, giving Sweden rights of Marine trade with Russia duty free, forever. Even Soviets followed that decree. Also Finns and Swedes could travel to StPetersburg without visas.
      My family lived in StPetersburg continuously since the foundation of the city. They received a special permit from Peter (грамота) to settle there.
      In 1918 Lenin returned S.Karelian land to Finland, unwisely. Even the nearest suburbs of Petrograd became Finnish. Until 1939. Finland, with German and GB prodding, went to war with the USSR. After 3 months of bloody (30000 Soviets killed) war, S.Karelian land was returned to the USSR, creating a buffer zone for StPetersburg.

Karelia is littered with huge boulders, many of which were improvised foxholes, equipped with machine guns. Finns had many ski battalions and at least 2 of those were manned with German Thyrolian battalions. My mother was a military nurse during that war. I still have photos of her with wounded soldiers.
