@@EliteWalkThroughs He didn't look like a bum, but had zero personality and charisma, I think he has mid-card potential when he was with Dutch Mantell but another that he was just meh.
@@ChrisJericho22 Nah, The Swagger of NXT would be Chase U. I dont know why Shawn has allowed that gimmick to last this long when its obvious it won't work on the main roster.
Who's the babyface and who's the heel used to be easy to answer for anyone who's channel flipping and catches wrestling, now you can be a mob boss with an entourage that outnumbers their opponent, and people will be mad at you and call you stupid for thinking the mobster is the bad guy. That's one of many reasons why it's hard for people that aren't in the wrestling bubble to care or become a new fan.
You know how you read some AEW fanboys comment and cringe? That’s how a lot of the NXT commenters appear to a lot of people right now
The SNL sopranos act is not good
When was Oba ever a face? My man was saying stuff like "In my country, the woman is seen and not heard." in the build to this! 😂 Oba is great.
D'Angelo is the face. Good lord Jim is dense.
I'll agree with Jim here, I was completely lost going in not knowing who was face or heel (this was my first time watching these two wrestle) so I was confused for most of it though I did like Oba but him losing kinda ruined the impression for me somewhat.
Tony is the face and yes he has whacked people before on the show, they are complaining about things that arent even true, Oba is and has always been a heel since day 1, if you are gonna criticise the story/characters, keep up with the show
7:00 There are no babyface and heel. The crowd just chooses who is over. Typical big man match which looks odd in the modern time. Oba Femi vs Channing Stacks Lorenzo was the best "squash" match ive seen in awhile so they can book it right but its impossible with this audience
5:40 I love when Jim is mincing things and getting confused on who is the heel or who is the Babyface
D'Angelo was the Babyface and Femi the monster heel (loved by the crowd). The story was that Tony was mentally breaking up against Oba during the promos and that Oba is the unbeatable, so it was like an underdog story.
Oba has been the heel since his appearance, lol. D'Angelo has been baby face for over a year already hahaha, cmon Jim
LOL the turn around is incredible
I’m looking forward to CM Punk taking over booking duties for NXT. If his brief work on Collision is any indication of his abilities, he’ll really turn that show around and select much better prospects.
To call NXT, WWE’s AEW is a dig at AEW because NXT is developmental.
🧂
Oba has always been a heel. The build up to the match was Moxley's Rocky 3, but done right.
Jim Soprano whatever happened there
Whateva happened there? WHATEVA HAPPENED THERE?! 🤬
Brian was right
This might be the worst review I've ever heard. I wonder if he's this misinformed watching AEW. Maybe I gotta give it a chance 😂
No Jim, Oba's been the heel the entire time
He's NXT's Brock Lesnar
how did jim manage to think that oba was the face and tony was the heel for so long and still didn't get it by the end? and brian didn't correct him, or even know himself.
Oba Femi is the heel.
tony and his family are not heels hes one of the most over guys in nxt if you guys actually watched youd know
Someone needs to tell Jim that Oba is the heel and Tony is the babyface. Oba is like Bron Breaker. The crowd chants when he comes out but the rest of the presentation is that of a heel. Jim’s NXT coverage has been pretty hard to listen to.
The mafia gimmick has beat to death over the years.. .Oba more believable..
WCW Halloween Havoc 1993 was the best blessed to see all from 1980-Now 1996 1997 and 1999 were okay also
I'm ok with TonyD'S gimmick. A little comedy is ok. He's also pretty good in the ring, I like his finish
Had no idea the comments were gonna be so fun. 🍿
Tony d has been a baby face. Oba has been pretty healish since he’s been there
