I know people have their complaints about the QC but I gotta be honest…I’m enjoying the ride. It’s the gift that keeps on giving. JHS Bender was a cool little bonus this update
The new amps sound so great that I’m using them exclusively for everything I need in a (classic rock) cover band setting. These sounds blow way my previous built presets. It’s very easy to get a great sound with the new amps without much tweaking.
The new update is awesome. The new amps sound great. I’m enjoying the different LED lights during scenes mode. Upgrading little UI features like that makes a difference.
Of cause they need money to run the company. People don’t get that it is good if they sell plugins to have the resources for development, also for the quad cortex. Especially if you think how much money the software guys earn. And the updates of the QC are free. How do you think they should run the company?
@@SuperMaxpower666 I think they shouldn't have promised stuff they couldn't deliver. It's been years now. No plugin support. Lots of promised features missing. Shame because the tones are definitely there!
Great presentation. Talented speaker. Lots of quality of life improvements! The Volume pedal is an essential that I'm relieved to see, and the Reverse Delay was well executed. I want the left outputs to sum to mono if it's the only output being used.
Are you guys considering giving us a doubler feature like in the newest plugins? The captor X has it and its really great for single guitarist bands and riffing around. Really thickens up the tone!
I've been a Helix user for a long time and I'm starting to consider making the switch. One tiny thing that makes me far too excited is this... When you make a change on the patch the text changes to italic to indicate you've made a change. Big woop, Helix does that with a little 'E'....but on the QC when you GO BACK to how it was when you first loaded the patch the text goes back to standard text!! The amount of times I've tweaked away on a patch, back and forth, changed a load of parameters and thought - "how was this set all when I started?" Tiny detail, love it!!
Am I the only one kind of upset that there never seems to be any indication of which cabs/cab settings are used to demonstrate amps/pedals? They don't need to dive into it every time, it could just be as simple as having a logo and a name, like they did at 4:17! Those Victor Squid amp sounds killer, BUT INTO WHICH CABINETS?? Otherwise, great work and a great demonstration indeed! I always enjoy these deep dives as they are very helpful, and I really look forward to play around with this new update. :)
I gotta hand it to Neural, that Matchless sounds incredible. When Neural finally upgrades the footswitch usability and assignments, I'll forgive Neural for slow updates :)
Still no editor? How about using the Neural DSP plugins? For a CorOS it's still missing too many core features that should have been in the release 2 years and 9 months ago.
@@gtz999It’s a beta that’s going to be released, let’s pump the brakes on the coronation. I have serious reservations using anything in beta status from NDSP, considering how many units got bricked from the “stable” release of CorOs 2.1.1
Not to be salty, but guy you obviously don't have a QC if not you would have known that the Cortex control will be available in like 2 weeks or even next week. Secondly, other core features? What core features is my guy talking about?
@@khay2210 Editor, and Plugins working? Both still missing 2 years after release, both key features? Don't hold your breath for the 2 weeks either if I were you.
@@CorrosiveMatter There is no effect until that has the ability to integrate plugins as far as I know, so that isa core feature. That being said they are still working on it. I 100% agree. Got a QC last weekend finally and every youtube video i click on to learn how to do something, it’s just chuggy chuggy palm muting. Gets annoying after not very long. Not everyone likes it.
I bought the Quad Cortex long time ago also the mission (grey one specially for quad Cortex) and i want this as a volume pedal but it is still not global so you have to do it every preset individually . I am waiting for the update for many months now and i never touched the Cortex again cause of waiting patiently for that update. The reason why i want this is because then i can switch between presets and amps during playing or gigging to check them out and see what works in different situations Now there are many updates but still not THAT one i want and asked for. I hope it will be there in the near future. I am not the only one who wants this. I do like the sounds of the QC but i still using my kemper stage all the time because there is the volume function globally. My QC is off for months now just because of this
I am a Line 6 PODGo user and just getting some info now into the Quad Cortex. How many presets come installed out of the box? Is the QC easier to use than PodGo? So much to learn.
Not happening with two weakly puny 2009 era ARM cores, you're asking that a complex x86 application to run on that CPU using back ported inefficient code? Apart from lack of speed, there's a complete lack of CPU instructions, there's no way they'll pull it off.
I just got mine and have only used it by connecting the QC direct into my interface. There’s some barely tolerable latency, even with a simple clean tone using and head and cab only. Is there a noticeable difference in latency the QC is used as the main via USB?
Esperare a la versión MKII, para mi no suena como lo hacen sus plugins de Pc y claro que ya se que no son la misma arquitectura, por eso mismo esperare a que el nuevo hardware sea compatible con la arquitecta de Pc
Please try to be more creative with the amount of pedals that we can turn on and off in one preset. It’s not enough! I play with it almost every night on big stages and it’s great! But it’s still not comfortable enough in terms of smooth operation on the stage🙏🏼
If it’s not better than your plugins, I’m not interested. Why are your plugins so amazing but this is still kinda meh? Give me that tone king imperial in a box and some of those other amps and I’m sold
Between tutorials like this, status emails, and patch notes I appreciate the communication. Transparency and frequency are great.
thank you to ALL Neural DSP team. your guys products are amazing and industry standard. I love my QC

Little by little becoming the powerhouse it's meant to be. Can't wait for the Cortex Control and plug in upload!
Expect to wait a lot longer whilst the company stays quiet about the whole thing whilst developing new plugins. All about the money.

Y'all got any of those bass archetypes in the works...perhaps an Archetype Thundercat?
What are you using to monitor your quad cortex in this video?
Always more Aweeome!!! 👍🏻🎶👌🏻🎸
Archetype Korn my guys the world needs it
Nope, nobody needs it

Does anyone know which cabinet was used with Victor Squid at 5:11?
Ho nooo they captured Digital John :D
Do the DSP plugins come as patches for the Quad? Like the Tim Henson, Mesa etc
I really like the dual delay but my church is mono, can i convert the sound to mono somehow or recreate it another way?
Good stuff!
this vs Quad Cortex?..btw, if I want to use a module like this or a quad Cortex live..do I need it to be hooked up to a computer?
Yes, but i still need my ndsp plugins to run natively on the cortex 💁

nice socks,, avoiding having shoe brand while demoing the pedal?
So could I capture, a neural esp plug in from the computer? Say rebs amp sim?
That should say 'continue to do it.'
When you will add metronome ? 😅

What up with that Weather Channel background track?
Still any way to play the plugins?
I’m the first one to like it!
No midi cc control of parameters actually makes it the WEAKEST multi-fx pedal in the world, as all the competition offer this.
Are the amps from the plugins available as full amps (not captures) yet?
Embedded OS development.
Does anyone know which chords those were in the intro? So pretty!
Don't care unless we can use our NDSP plugins inside
Keep dreaming, you're asking for a x86 application to be ported into this simplified dsp, there isn't CPU power for that 😂😂
@@JohnWiku well maybe they shouldn't have marketed that as a feature when they rolled out pre orders.

Modulation still sucks, we still can’t use our plugins in QC, still no editor and terrible footswitch usability. Almost 3 years waiting and counting…

is it me or do all the sounds in this video are extreme harsh/sharp unpleasant?
does the modulation still suck ?

Tubes literally should not make a difference in toan at all. Just call it like it is and say you're manually coding in different eq curves.
That's one expensive distortion pedal to delay
