I usually put them in the snow or in a buket of ices in 10-15 minutes that will do best. They wont move or feel pain when you cut or cook. Very simple way!

Where exactly do you insert the knife? I've always seen it inserted on the top and then slicing between the eyes.
i think she inserted the knife right below the head from the bottom of the lobster
