As a Black man with two Black parents I’m so happy that biracial people are getting their own show playing in their own rolls Maybe next time when they cast a Black family we can play in our own rolls and biracial people are not cast as black, No hate just stating the facts

Anders Holm is a great actor comedian but Mark -Paul Gosselaar looks more like a younger Bo Bridges whom plays the older late Paul Johnson of Blackish than Anders Holm does.
It's about the experience we had before the 2000s. I claim black all day but that doesn't mean that I wasnt called out for looking different then everyone else. It was different in the 80s and 90s. In some places if you were mixed you stuck out like a sore thumb and felt different. This is a show about that... it's not for all people, mainly to make people remember there was a different time back then.

There have always been light skinned mixed black people in the black community We are a mixed people since slavery . No black person in America don't know or have people who look like them in their family or peer group. They intentionally casted very dark skinned Black kids in the lunch room, to make the distinction. But if you go to any school with black kids in a group, you'll see kids that look like them among the group. Vanessa Williams, Prince, Beyonce's mother etc...are all mixed looking black people. This is a silly premise of the" I'm so confused " brigade. It's not confusing when the cops stop you on a dark highway at night.
