Once upon a time, there were three little girls who went to the police academy! Not too long after that they were hired by Charlie Townsend! Charlie's Angels was one of the greatest detective series ever and I am so glad that we got the chance to have something wonderful come on TV each week
This episode was actually filmed on location at a private girl's high school that I and my sister were attending when this show was actually filmed. It was a beautiful old hacienda mansion that had been converted to a school and the extensive grounds were beautiful. It had a gorgeous pond with willows surrounding it and swans swimming on it. I was a junior and my sister was a freshman at the time. I believe it closed quite a while ago now. We and friends got to meet the Angels and the rest of the cast and got to see some of the outside scenes being filmed (when we weren't in class). The outside stable scenes were actually filmed at the stables that were part of our school and the horses you see were horses we knew and rode often. Fantasy Island also filmed an episode there and we met the dashing Ricardo Montalban aka Mr. Roarke, Tattoo and the rest of the guest actors. Self magazine, founded in 1979, photographed their first edition there with the models posing out by our lovely swimming pool in the grounds. I remember asking one of the crew on a break from the photoshoot what the name of this new magazine would be and he said "Self" and I said "Just Self??" and he said "Yeah." - I thought it sounded odd at the time though after forty years, it's become a household name now! Those were some great memories from the 1970s!
The older guy @0:57 speaking to Chris Monroe played Mr. Whittendale on the Jeffersons. On one episode called Florence's Union George kicked him out of his apartment and told him, "Don't let the door hit ya where the good Lord split ya"!....lol
He was also in a lot of TV shows in the 60's and 70's - I remember him on "Bewitched" as a hotel manager that kept seeing Samantha do witchcraft and decided he needed a vacation.
I asked you hoping that you'd know! lol Unfortunately, even us die hard Charlie's Angels fans don't know. She's not credited in the show. If I find out who played Beamish, I'll let you know, and if you find out, please let m e know! Thank you!
Is it not in that Charlie's Angels book (name escapes me at the moment) - I'm out of state or I'd check. The book has an episode guide and written by pres of their fan club I think...
This was one of my faves in season 3. Donna, Bo, and Sissy could easily have been Angels. They were all hot. The guy that played Victor, his acting was pretty bad!
Rene Auberjonois who played the crooked hypnotist in the Seance was also in SATAN'S SCHOOL FOR GIRLS as were Kate Jackson and Cheryl Ladd. Auberjonois also starred as persnicity fussy Clayton Andicot in BENSON.
Sabrina was the least flamboyant of the the Angels, but she was still very pretty and a very important part of the team. Next to Kelly, Sabrina was my favorite Angel.
Brian...check this out: Back in 2006 (I think.), Kate VERY, VERY CRUELLY had Cheryl excluded from that Aaron Spelling Tribute Special (or whatever). NOT COOL AT ALL!!!!!
369jbird I've asked every person who says this to show me where they found this as a fact. By 2006, Kate was no longer that influential. More bs gossip.
@@369jbird That was the year Aaron Spelling died. I heard Kate had a reputation for being difficult to deal with off camera that she was a bully. But she seemed to get along very well with Jaclyn Smith and Farrah Fawcett from the first season. In fact, from what I've heard She loved them very much.
@@nancymanning3440 I totally agree with you. I hate all the bs gossip about Kate. You can see a lot of online comments of people who keep spreading gossip just because someone said so.
In the first year Kate had a wonderful time with Farrah and Jaclyn. Their chemistry was amazing. A guy who actually worked on the CA set said that Kate was very nice with everyone and the crew liked her. Farrah was a ray of sunshine on the set. Cheryl not so much. So things changed a lot for everyone. As for Kate. Many seem not aware that she was the co-creator of the show. The name "Charlie's Angels" and the mysterious Charlie were Kate's idea. She was promised a detective crime drama with scripts that have depth. Didn't happen. Then in early 1978 she landed the female role in "Kramer vs. Kramer" but the producers just wouldn't let her do that movie. Very cruel. When Kate was not allowed to do it Meryl Streep got the role and won an Oscar. How devastating for Kate! So she started to cause some problems (her words) on the set in season 3. I don't blame her! I would've gotten really mad had this happened to me. Kate finished season 3 and told the producers "I quit" and they said "you can't quit, you're fired". They were so nice, weren't they... Well, they totally underestimated the importance of Sabrina Duncan for "Charlie's Angels" thinking they could replace her with someone very glamourous and when that didn't work out they hired a bomb shell (it wasn't the fault of those actresses). While the scripts got worse and worse. They were too dumb to realize that no one could replace the awesome and charismatic Kate Jackson, the best actress on the show! Hence the show went downhill without her.

This girls' college reminds me of Satan's School for Girls (1973), and featured Kate and Cheryl in it.
Yes I remembered that movie.
This was a good episode

What a cool story. Ty

Bosley had good manners, asking "please" to Donna as he pointed a gun at her about getting out of that car!!
Since you have a picture of Beamish, I'd like to ask you who played Beamish on the episode called The Seance?
Embarrassed to say I actually don't know - but I do love her scenes and hearing Jaclyn go on about "No Beemish!" So who did the portrayal?

@@SweptAway529 CHARLIE'S ANGELS CASEBOOK by Jack Condon.......have a copy of it.
The Angels seemed to know troubled girls from bad girls. They were very intuitive.
Nice little mini episode. Good job!
At first I thought 'Liz' was a young Andrea Zuckerman from 'Beverly Hills, 90210'
Kris spent three days unpacking one suitcase
This was one of my faves in season 3. Donna, Bo, and Sissy could easily have been Angels. They were all hot. The guy that played Victor, his acting was pretty bad!
One of my favorite episodes from season three too.
not Donna.
@@67nairb Yes, probably not Donna. Although Liz looked really good minus the glasses and she had real pretty eyes.
@@MrMarkmurray0712 I'm sure she was. Y'know who also looked pretty behind those glasses and hairdo and of hers? Sarah Palin.
Donna (Audrey Landers) also played Afton on Dallas. She's a good bad girl. She should have turned down JR and not slept with him.
why? what happened to her in DALLAS.
@@67nairb JR blackmailed her into sleeping with him and used her several times. She was naive on Dallas
Yes the luscious Audrey, so sexy
Kate Jackson aka Sabrina Duncan the best 👍❤
I like this episode
Cheryl Land was'nt playing well, thats all..
Don't hurt my Jaclyn, she is very delicate
You know I really like Cheryl Ladd aka Kris Monroe she's alright to me is kris Monroe the younger or the oldest child?
She's the younger sister of Jill (Farrah Fawcett).
They're actually not related at all, they are actresses with different last names.
I always thought this episode was a homage to Satan School for Girls....which also starred Kate & Cheryl and was produced by Aaron Spelling.
Rene Auberjonois who played the crooked hypnotist in the Seance was also in SATAN'S SCHOOL FOR GIRLS as were Kate Jackson and Cheryl Ladd. Auberjonois also starred as persnicity fussy Clayton Andicot in BENSON.
What it that is clothing that Cheryl is wearing at 2:21-2:46 ? I don't mean the brand name; I mean the kind of shirt she's wearing.
She sure looks chic in it.
That style of shirt is called a 'camp shirt'.
@@kellylaflash1016 thanks for the info. it looks so nice her.
Can someone please upload full episodes of C.Angel's season1,2,and3.
That Donna wasn't a very nice young lady!! Sabrina's flannel nighty just doesn't seem very angel-like clothing!!
Sabrina was the least flamboyant of the the Angels, but she was still very pretty and a very important part of the team. Next to Kelly, Sabrina was my favorite Angel.
brian sedlock Sabrina was undercover as a teacher🙄
LOL..I love the stunt work. Clearly it's men with wigs on.
Men with wigs. Lol. Before VHS and DVD
I read that Kate Jackson and Cheryl Ladd didn't get along with each other on the set.

3:20-3:24 sound advise Kris.
Although Jacklyn Smith has aged well.
She still is not looking like a granny
she's 73 going on 74 this October 26.
Jaclyn is still a hot number even at 74.

1:33-1:54 Sabrina should fix her collar on the right side it looks a little sloppy.
