I'm hyped for this! If you want to hear more heavy Starset, check out Bringing It Down, Gravity of You, and Telekinetic, though you can't really go wrong with any of their stuff. Emotional power ballads like Ricochet and Diving Bell I feel are their best work.
This singer can really do some sick screams, some give me chills at times, they have a diverse track record, they have heavy songs, electronic and everything in between. But the vocalist is very talented.
I love Starset. They have a very unique style. They have some very heavily electronic elements, but mix that with rock and occasionally go fairly heavy. If you want heavier songs I would recommend Bringing it Down, or Telekinetic. My personal favorite songs from them are Ricochet, Manifest, and Diving Bell.
Starset are a unique band who can't really be defined with one listen or one song. They're all so unique and amazing in there own way. All of their albums and music videos, at least the earlier ones, told a story that weaved through. They even have a novel to go along with it, which is why it's hard to kind of understand their songs off one listen, especially since most of their songs can be read in different ways. All 3 albums are different, and even then every song is different but they all connect. For example, they have more straight forward rock songs, like My Demons, Carnivore, Monster, Satellite or Manifest, to their "heavy" ones such as this, Bringing It Down, Telekinetic or Gravity of You, to their amazing ballads like Dark On Me, Ricochet, Everglow, Perfect Machine and Diving Bell. All of them are amazing but can't quite be compared. It's hard for me to say which ones you should react to as I love all of them and all should be heard, but imo Perfect Machine and Everglow need more love. But to cover all bases I'd go Monster, Ricochet or Diving Bell, Bringing it Down and Manifest. Anyway, great reaction guys, hopefully I'll see more Starset from you.
Idk, Monster is good, but it's more radio friendly than a lot of their other stuff. Not sure the guys would like it. If I was to suggest one of their more mainstream songs, it would be My Demons or Carnivore.
That guitar was a baritone PRS Mushok sig in Drop A# and the guitarist I think used either a Digitech Drop Whammy or built in automated pitch shift effects in Kemper if thats even possible for the low bend thing in the main riff, 2nd prechorus, and breakdown.
Starset is an amazing band. They definitely have their own sound. And their actual videos are like high quality short movies. Dustin Bates the vocalist and song writer is talented AF. Checkout their other stuff
I never thought I would see you guys reacting to Starset, I'm pleasantly surprised! I like this song but they have way better songs, also, would be awesome to see you guys reacting to Red as well, their producer, Rob Graves is also Starset's producer, Starset's vocalist also co-wrote a song with them for their 2017 album(named Gone). I would recommend songs like Float and Cauterize(from their most recent album, Declaration) Gravity Lies, What you Keep Alive, Fight to Forget or Falling Sky(from Of Beauty and Rage), Break Me Down or Wasting time(from End Of Silence), Overtake You, Out From Under, Confession/What's Inside My head or Fight Inside(from Innocence & Instinct), The Outside, Watch You Crawl or Feed the Machine(from Until We Have Faces), A.I. or Fracture(from Gone). I think all of these songs would bring some enjoyment to you guys so picking one of them to react would be awesome. PS: Didn't suggest any songs from Release the Panic because it's their weakest album, still a pretty decent album but I guess too simple and radio friendly for this channel haha.
These guys always remind me of a more orchestral/electronic-oriented Breaking Benjamin. Really nice although their recent album was somewhat dissapointing
I personally enjoyed their last album quite a lot, it was no Vessels or Transmissions but still a nice album, was also pretty nice that Luke Holland did the drums for Divisions as well.
Divisions were abit more experiment i suppose but with a visual story to each song, but personally i feel divisions stick to me the most as it resonates with me more.
I love Starset! I swear when their latest album, Divisions, came out I listened to it through probably 100 times in a row (and a lot more since then). They just put out a new music video for Echo off that album that is awesome (as is the song). Y'all might like songs off that album more, based off what y'all seem to like in your other reactions. "Where the Skies End" is also a banger. Edit: Also how the hell have I been watching every reaction you guys put out but I hadn't subscribed til just now? I'm dumb.
You gotta check out Telekinetic, Bringing it down (I prefer Version 2.0 but the original is still really good) manifest, or really any song theyve done 😂 great reaction as always Edit: Rich absolutely slayed the vocals 🤘
Brock actually plays a 6 string, but it's a baritone guitar, hence the super low tuning (his main guitars are tuned to G# and A#). Not to mention that Starset is about 98234612984656 times better than fucking Nickelback. Telekinetic is definitely their heaviest track, but they don't have any bad songs. I don't know that I'd call them metal (they call themselves "cinematic rock," which is pretty damn accurate), but they are amazing and one of my top two favorite bands.
Starset is my favorite band, but this song is pedestrian compared to the tracks that exemplify their more dynamic musicality. Thanks for giving them some attention anyways. If it's movement you feel that gives a song presence, their Divisons album shines for this. This is from their Vessels album, and Ricochet would be the song to check out that has quite a bit more substance, whether the style is for you or not.
this is by far my most hated song by Starset who is my favorite band. I would always recommend starting with Monster or My Demons as those are the most commercially successful
@@TrueShotOfficial it's called predict text my man, I would have edited it, but I don't care!😂 And coming back with a reply like that says it all!🤡 I'm not trying to be mean, just thought the reaction was bad!
No worries! Pre-save our new song “Deadbeat Lullaby”! It drops April 9th! Thanks Mr. Misconception! distrokid.com/hyperfollow/trueshot/deadbeat-lullaby
Starset really is such a breath of fresh air.. they’re super melodic, heavy, atmospheric and literally spacey.. all their choruses are stellar
At least someone appreciates
Could not agree more!
🙌this💙
I agree, except for the heavy part, it depends on their song and if they have a metalcore breakdown
Starset really is their own genre of metal. Highly underrated
cannot agree more
My favorite song is Ricochet.
🖤
Dude, Starset is a sick band
I'm hyped for this! If you want to hear more heavy Starset, check out Bringing It Down, Gravity of You, and Telekinetic, though you can't really go wrong with any of their stuff. Emotional power ballads like Ricochet and Diving Bell I feel are their best work.
I agree. I love both of those songs. But yeah they would probably like the heavier stuff better, which is also very good.
Adding Point of No Return, Into the Unknown to the list. The breakdown on the latter.
Seconded on Telekinetic. It's the song that unseated Frequency on the heaviness, for sure.
This singer can really do some sick screams, some give me chills at times, they have a diverse track record, they have heavy songs, electronic and everything in between.
But the vocalist is very talented.
Dustin is like scary good
I love Starset.
There's a live-ish video for their song Manifest that you may enjoy
Manifest is definitely a banger!
Glad to see more people reacting to Starset!

These guys are actually a really good band. I can't listen to them all the time, but when I'm in the mood kinda bands.
One of my favorite Starset songs. Nice electronic and orchestral layers with cool drops. I recommend their song Monster.
Idk, Monster is good, but it's more radio friendly than a lot of their other stuff. Not sure the guys would like it. If I was to suggest one of their more mainstream songs, it would be My Demons or Carnivore.
Wait I'm actually surprised you guys have never heard of Starset before lmao
On my Spotify wrap up my second most listened to genre was “future rock” and it was all Starset lol
Starset is actually really good. Very different sound
That guitar was a baritone PRS Mushok sig in Drop A# and the guitarist I think used either a Digitech Drop Whammy or built in automated pitch shift effects in Kemper if thats even possible for the low bend thing in the main riff, 2nd prechorus, and breakdown.
Amazing live, love Starset

Might as well include Infidel or The Victim. Declaration was really sick. Can't wait to hear more from Red if they continue with this style
@@janfertan5414 The whole album is great indeed, I forgot The Evening Hate too, I think it's song our boys would enjoy.
Rob Graves did Transmissions and Vessels, but Dustin self-produced Divisions and the upcoming fourth album.
This band blows my mind with every song .
They are EPIC ! 🔥
I'm a simple man. I see a Starset reaction video, I smash that like button
They say it's a decent song but then start singing along. Starset is amazing.
Telekinetic is probably their heaviest song if you wanna check it out
Me and my dog were watching it and loved every second
I love when crappy bands that nobody has heard of criticize bands that actually have talent. Lol
Manifest live Starset listen!
I think the problem is you guys were expecting a heavy metal song when that's not what Starset is
Probably not the song I would have chose to check out by them, that being said they are incredibly good live.
These guys always remind me of a more orchestral/electronic-oriented Breaking Benjamin. Really nice although their recent album was somewhat dissapointing

Divisions were abit more experiment i suppose but with a visual story to each song, but personally i feel divisions stick to me the most as it resonates with me more.
Well Dustin's older band toured with Breaking Benjamin
Oh yeees, i love Starset
Love starset one of my favorite bands of all time. Underrated.
I love Starset! I swear when their latest album, Divisions, came out I listened to it through probably 100 times in a row (and a lot more since then). Their screamer is really good
The screamer is the same as the singer

Well said
Try "My Demons". Its their best song. And its not autotunue, he have an second voice helping him. Thats all...
I hoghly suggest checking out songs such as
Carnivore
Manifest
Telekenetic
Back To Earth
Satellite
Bringing It Down
Where The Skies End
Gosh, you guys should followup with a reaction to Telekinetic by Starset. I think Adam would like that that one changes tempo. Maybe too much! 😄
Listen to their newest album Horizons, it’s much more polished and I think you’d like it more
Starset is my favorite band, but this song is pedestrian compared to the tracks that exemplify their more dynamic musicality. Thanks for giving them some attention anyways.
If it's movement you feel that gives a song presence, their Divisons album shines for this. This is from their Vessels album, and Ricochet would be the song to check out that has quite a bit more substance, whether the style is for you or not.
This one was a little weird for me too. Check out Manifest by them. They have a music video for it too.
These guys are pretty cool, if you check out another song I’d highly recommend My Demons. I think that song is a lot better than this one
ouuuu me likey lol
YOU HAVE TO REACT RICOCHET FROM STARSET
Sound like they wanna be a hybrid of iseestars and breaking Benjamin ... they're doing both OK but not stand out
Nickelback on 9 string HAHAH
That chorus was biting Breaking Benjamin big time.
They have soooooooooo many better songs... "manifest" is one of them.
this is by far my most hated song by Starset who is my favorite band. I would always recommend starting with Monster or My Demons as those are the most commercially successful
What!??? How is this your most hated song!? Lol. Sorry I am just genuinley curious
well thats just stupid it's one of their best songs SMH
Pretty poor reaction tbh! More taking the poss and more thing about the lyrics or anything, put some effort in, seeming as it's a reaction channel 😂
Learn grammar before you comment again please
