It's quite special to listen to your Scottish accent and turn of phrase for someone who is not from the UK! "Wee rivers" and "glens", for example. We didn't see you cooking or similar house keeping - I think I'd enjoy that, but maybe you've decided to focus on the actual hiking. Thanks for taking us along - from Cape Town, South Africa.
What a beautiful adventure! Thanks for all the effort you put in to these videos Gregor..always very much a pleasure to watch. Looking forward to the next one! 🤗
Brilliant you saw Glenfeshie Gregor. One of Scotland's great rewilding projects. It was controversial how many red deer were culled in order that the trees could grow but there is a healthier balance now
I’m in awe of your adventures- a good humour and great scenery. You also produce a professional film worthy of greater destiny Please keep them coming and being a great advocate for Scottish wilderness adventures

Glen feshi is awesome, fun facts , it contains a remnant of ancient forest , in 2004 a danish billionaire bought the estate and is pretty much trying to restore the forests and rewild it 😁👌👌👌 nice video bud love seeing our awesome natural beauty as you stoat aboot the hills n glens 😁🤘
Oh and you should check out the highland woodsman on TH-cam, big sam is a Forrester how works on forest restoration in the cairngorms his videos are awesome he does the wild camping, hell hes probably camped in the same forest you just did 😁👌👌👌
Very nice journey, beautiful autumnal colours. Surprised you didn't take your trainers off when fording the river. And yes, I was getting anxious that you might miss the train. Another great trip.
You cease to amaze me wherever you go it’s always fantastic. A good escape from all the madness in the world lease day. It’s like a doze of therapy 🎉🎉😁 peace
Great stuff😊. New pack looks like it carries the weight well too. Pot noodle ? Super noodles nah. Sticky rib pot noodles all the way. Red deer stags in rutting season make a mournful soundtrack to autumn. But great to hear in a country with diminished wildlife. Btw its always colder camping in the lower points of the glens by the rivers. We've found em to be coldest parts in spring and autumn etc. Best wishes 🫡👍🏼
I remember doing much that walk a few years ago (it's Glen Bruar and the Bruar Water, by the way, not Glen Banvie). Navigating at the top of the Minigaig was hard in snow and fog, and the rain on my way down to Feshie was some of the worst I've ever walked in, but I woke up the next morning beneath a granny pine to the River Feshie in glorious sunshine.
I'm getting the feeling of when I used to watch Jimmie MacGregor on TV in the 80's walking through Scotland. Brings back the nostalgic feeling. It's almost got me buying a tent so I can wild camp and do some astrophotography in remote places, but with all my camera gear and a tent I'd be keeling over so I'll make do with living it through your lens
So peaceful, amazing views, colors of fall!! The huge deer were amazing and could hear their bellows. Lovely rivers, bridges, trees, mountains!! Thank you for this lovely, calming adventure, we watch them many times is so nice!! Glad you did not miss the train, until next time, be safe & well!!😁❤
A small thank you for starting my Saturday so nicely. I’m a keen Scottish hill walker myself, but sometimes it’s good to sit back and get the views while someone younger does the work :) I appreciated the nod to Blair Witch Project with the hat, tent and torch! (A movie before your time, but a lot of fun.)
Ice-cold water's fine to drink, but less so when fording rivers, eh? Yes, a few trees make a lot of difference... I have a work colleague up in Glen Feshie right now, the lucky sod! I just loved that steep valley at 18:40 . I take it you caught your train?
What a wondeful video!! Beautiful views everywhere, excellent weather and skies! Both camping spots seemed pretty nice and peaceful as well ahaha. Thanks for taking us on another great adventure mate. Keep going
Great video. I love that area too. I walked from Kingussie to Blair Atholl in May this year but via the old road that goes over the Minigaig Pass. I saw my first wild adder 😁 Oh btw, that huge glen past Bruar Lodge was Glen Bruar. Keep the cool videos coming 👍

Another Great adventure Gregor, Great Scenery ,many thanks ,how did your new Trail/Hike Shoes measure up against your boots you usually wear ,were they more Comfortable ? your shoes and socks must have been soaked after wading through that river, hope you had spare socks, You are very Brave venturing into the Wilderness on your own, take care
I've walked over that moor to the Allt Scheicheachan bothy a couple of times. That large cairn is the 'Lady March Cairn' but is of little historical significance having being started during a 19th century picnic & eventually becoming the large column we see today. Then in Glen Bruar I saw my first Golden Eagles back in 2002 before going over the Minigaig to Glen Tromie. Also stayed at the bothy in Glen Feshie, coming in via Glen Tilt & Glen Geldie in 2014. There was some dodgy river crossings on that trip just like you experienced. You just can't beat the Cairngorms.
