Most pubs were like this in those days. Busy and full of happy people, no trouble. Most went out for a good time. Much nicer era. I lived in Eccles for a while mid 90s, I wasnt from round there but people made me welcome in the pubs.
In an industrial area of Pendleton over from Salford Precinct other side of the roundabout in a back street.Did taxi job round Salford,a few rough diamonds but good people overall.I miss it rreally
