With the near complete destruction of the entire British army in and around the city of Dunkirk in 1940, Churchill was forced to bow to the wishes of his cabinet at the threat of a vote of no confidence within the parliament. The sun has finally set on the British Empire as it’s stripped of nearly all of its colonies in Africa and whatever standing army it has left with the signing of the humiliating and embarrassing Treaty of Rome, drafted by Mussolini and his lackeys.
