    Well here we go again! Another cracking video with amazing underwater footage.
    Yes you lot had superb fish, but i loved to see those big and soooo tasty haddock come on board.
    Again laughed my head off, specialy thanks to mr. Lunatic himself being Ashe ( hope i spelled his name right).
    What a super fun guy. What is shown in this video, is what you get when good fisherman also are having fun.
    Competing but still having a laugh and loving to mock eachother without disrespect.
    Great bunch and good scipper aswel.
    Can't wait to see part 3 of this trip.

      Nice to hear from you again. Glad you enjoyed the 1st two films. The 3rd has singing in it 😆. Led by your favourite 'Ashley '. And some nice fish too.

      Thank you. I showed the skipper the underwater footage and he was amazed. No one had ever put a camera down on his boat before.

    when i fished the boat mainly out the north east port at seaham all i used was what was called a ripper which was a lead weight 7 inches by 5 eights in size with 4 hooks dangling off the bottom and i caught hundreds upon hundreds of cod my best day was 94 but i never failed they were very happy days - would love any replies please

      We were introduced to rippers in 2018 in Hartlepool. A local guy gave me 1 after he showed us what he had caught. Probably where jigging started, up north.

      Where did you buy these rippers from please Edward?

    Great video. Great channel.
    What size leads are you switching between during the tide cycle?
    Or are you just using 2lb regardless?

    • @Anstey-Sea-Anglers
      @Anstey-Sea-Anglers  3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @yorkieangler5446 thank you. We mainly stuck with 2lb. We actually went up to 3lb on a few occasions, it was still running away under the boat at times.

      @@Anstey-Sea-Anglers hence everyone with shoulder harnesses. What was the tide/drift speed or was you at anchor?

    • @Anstey-Sea-Anglers
      @Anstey-Sea-Anglers  3 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @yorkieangler5446 always drifting. The thing is you cannot put your rod down against the rail. Even wrapping it with the ties wouldn't stop the rod from going over the side. The pull was so strong. I struggled last july... my arms were killing from constantly pulling against the tide with 2lb of lead, 300ft of water and a double figure cod on the end. So this time i was able to clip the rod to the harness and give my arms a rest. Also helped me film while fishing.

      @@Anstey-Sea-Anglers I turned down the chance to go to the Shetland’s with the fishing club I’m a member of last year mainly because of what you just explained on fishing conditions I wasn’t sure if I’d enjoy it. (Love plaice fishing on the skerries with a 5 ounce lead or shad fishing off Cornwall with a 6 ounce weight. Even Conger fishing it’s only 10oz.). But watching your videos I’m probably going to bite the bullet & give it a bash. I thought Pirking with a 20oz Pirk was my limit 😂😂
