Thank you for recognising Pablo. He is (to me) so content to be low-key and is always happy to make the others shine. In an interview with Parcinq (it was a recent issue that covered leaders of Ppop groups) he said that as a leader, the happiest moment is to see the members realising their talent and gain the confidence to show it to the world (I'm paraphrasing, of course). I do hope that he too becomes glaringly visible to the world.
Pablo understands Korean the best among all the members of SB19, he studied the language for quite sometime, although we rarely hear him speak or sing in Korean nowadays.
He actually took classes in Korean and it was one of his teachers who suggested he apply at ShowBT and he was at first offered by them to be a solo artist.
There was a YT video (by Seoul Fellas) a couple of years back where some Koreans were made to guess whether the one singing was Taeyang or Sejun and they had some difficulties guessing. Very interesting indeed. I can’t find the video anymore, though.
There was a Korean YT channel that did a blind test for 2 Koreans to try to distinguish between TY singing his song and Pablo singing this. One of the Koreans totally had a hard time distinguishing which one is which. 🤣That is how talented Pablo is!

Surprisingly, a lot of Filipinos can easily speak basic Korean conversationally. A lot of Koreans come to the Philippines to study / learn English among other subjects. They are the largest group of foreigners that come to live and enjoy the beauty of the Philippines. It is also cheaper for them to live here compared to the exorbitant cost of living in South Korea.A mere 3 hour plane to the Philippines.
In my opinion, It's hard to pick out korean language even in our country. The only difference is we are exposed and love Kdramas and K-POP , that is why continuously and daily watching korean movies and listening korean songs help us to pick it up easily. I can learn and sing korean by simply listening but also by studying how they pronounced it. But it is definitely not easy, but I find it fun coz it was thrilling to sing in different language.
I am sorry I can't relate to this song but I believe you. Sounds Greek to me. Hahahahahaha. Kidding aside, Pablo is so good in any genre and in everything he puts his heart in. He is really a force to reckon in.
