Killer video, thanks for the whole set! I know this doesn’t matter to anyone but me. But if only the camera was titled up just a hair more to get the lights in the roof… (I’m the lighting guy)
So, I see at the end of your comment you have I'm the lighting guy in parenthesis. I'm one of the old school guys that follows the "believe 1/2 of what you see and none of what you hear/ read". That said. if you were in control of the light board for this performance I gotta tell you....AWESOME FLIPPING JOB MAN! Absolutely love it!!! I did stage lighting for a few cover bands that worked the local club scene in the Baltimore, DC/ Va, West Va, Pa & Del region on the weekends for a few decades. Started out when a few good friends got a band together and they asked me to do lights. Told them I had no clue as to what I was doing and asked if they were sure. They told me they had a company coming in to do all of the rigging/ set up and all I had to was push some buttons and go along with the tunes. Wound up finding that I loved it and being a music lover it turned out that I actually got pretty damn good at it. We always went out to the clubs to support the local scene and instead of having to pay my food and drink tabs out of pocket I either had tabs wiped out by club owners or the money I made was enough to cover tabs and still go home with more cash than what I had when I left the house for the night. As time went on I learned everything I could about rigging and programming which turned into higher pay. While it was pretty much just a wknd gig deal I got to meet some great people and work with some national acts my buddies got to open for. Had the pleasure of meeting and running the controls for Pat Travers, Foghat, Candlebox, Cypress Hill, Three Days Grace, Childs Play, Kix, Jimmie's Chicken Shack, Cry Of Love just to name a few. Anyhow, I loved it up till the time Covid arrived and shut everything down. At that time I decided to leave the company I drove a truck for in Md and relocate to southern most part of South Carolina only to find that the music scene in the area is basically non existent compared to Balt/ DC area. Now I miss it ESPECIALLY when I see videos like this one of Badflower and see a killer light show. Plan was to compliment you on a great job and wound up being a long ass story...LOL. Again, GREAT JOB lightin' em up & KEEP ON ROCKING!
