The 321 at the end had a rather interesting livery. I've never seen it before. Great footage, thoroughly enjoyed it. Ipswich is always a great station to go to.
Nice selection there Chris, a good mix of workings and almost always something on the move by the look of it. When I eventually get over to do my GEML visit I guess I'd most likely base myself here or Colchester - any idea what weekday parking is like as both of those?
Thanks Darren. Weekday parking is quite expensive at Ipswich & Colchester, and both stations have ticket gates, although staff will normally let you on. Generally I get the train to these stations from Norwich.
A superb action video Chris, thanks for sharing. I've fancied "an hour or so" at Ipswich station, is it that busy during the week or is it only on Saturdays?? STEVIE B.
Thanks Stevie. I've not been to Ipswich on a weekday yet, but from reports and timetables I see it should be a lot busier during the week. Definitely worth a visit especially now the yard is open again.
What a excellent video you have put together Chris, I am really enjoying watching you visit to IP. My last visit here was 14/02/14.
Thanks Mike. First visit here for me for over 10 years, and my other visit was only as I was passing through on my way to London for work!

Thanks. The 321 was in a demonstrator livery.
cmeonthemove ah right Ok. Thanks very much
Nice sound from the 47 at the end. (and made a small dog very excited by the sound of it). They seemed to have dropped off the 37 somewhere.
The 37 was left at Stowmarket while 47810 took the RHTT set to Ilford for wheel lathe work.
Good one, I didn't get the 66 shunting the fuel tanks, I was going to if they pulled up to where I was but they didn't come up that far
Cheers Brad. Yes filming the tanks being shunted around was why I got caught out with the RHTT!

cmeonthemove Thanks for the info Chris, I'll definitely visit next Spring.

STEVIE B When you do let me know. I might be able to come and join you.
