This is a LIVE performance of "Illumination" at a concert I did at Benaroya Hall in Seattle in 2018 with the Ensign Symphony & Chorus. This song was my encore number, and was so much fun to perform for such an energetic crowd. Thanks to the awesome usage of technology and live orchestral performances, we used my backup tracks for the electronic elements in the song and some of the beats, while the orchestra and choir performed the rest live as well as myself at the 9 foot Yamaha CFX (provided by Yamaha Entertainment, thank you!).
This song is from one of my best selling albums, "Illumination", which you can find everywhere. Thanks for your wonderful support for my music!

I have played the piano and organ for 37 years. Two years ago an embolic stroke took my ability to play. I sat at the piano day after day picking out the simplest of songs because I was determined to get back there again. I found this piece and promised myself that one day I would play it. My left hand will never be as strong as it used to be and I may not be able to tackle Rubenstein, Chopin, Lanz, Yanni or Jennifer Thomas smoothly like I once did, but being able sit and play it at a slower pace still brings me joy.

Put on my headphones and play your music and let the music relax my brain and close my eyes and let your music take me out of my body and a journey and forgetting about the pain for a while. I love classical music and used to play Chopin, Lizst, Beethoven... BUT Ms Jennifer Thomas' Illumination is so captivating and magnetizing, I wish my fingers were still nimble to be able to play her composition par excellence.

That would be an incredible idea! I don't know if it will ever happen, right now it's virtually impossible to record choirs due to covid, But I love that idea!

Love this - really epic cinematic sound, must have been very powerful heard live with the orchestra and choir, you can never reproduce that properly on a recording. I would really like to ask your advice (briefly) as a successful artist in this genre if that would be OK? How could I message you there is no option on here?

Absolutely love this piece, but, in my opinion the choir overshadowed Jennifer and the orchestra.
She is a composer. Not necessarily a pianist. Arpeggiations aren't that impressive, but her music is!
