Does Sweeny Todd count 😁 though off hand I can't think of any of the songs that might be appropriate. For an angsty fic "I hate everything about you " by, I think 3 days Grace? The main corus line is " i hated everything about you, why do I love you ". I could see Cat finally snapping under the constant strain of his unrequited love for LB and confronting her, them getting into a fight/screaming match ending with Cats despair getting him akumatized. Be under Hawkmoths control. Maybe injure LB, falling in to deeper self loathing. Ordered back HM and then the reveal, Cat is his son, HM reveals he's his father. Hatered rage betrayal, all the things his own father had done to him and his friends, poor innocence people, even little children and babies. Like Alya before him he breaks HW control and a fight to the death, since he has already lost LB heno longer cares what happens to him, though some tiny ember buried deep inside still loves his father. Last line of the song, as the Cataclysm hits HW and he starts to disintegrate, Cat hold his dieing father close whispering into his ear, "I hate everything about you, so why ...do I love you?" Before breaking down sobbing as his enemy, his father finishes dieing and disintegrating in his arms.

Hands down, “Wicked” and “Hamilton”. I grew up listening to the “Wicked” soundtrack, traveling with my Oma and Opa, while I actually found out about “Hamilton” relatively recently and just listened to the soundtrack for a week non-stop. *drum noise”, heck maybe even a month, don’t know because since COVID, time has become a blur. Shortly after I fell in love with the “Hamilton” soundtrack I found “SIX”, again a historical musical.
Though I also grew up listening to the “Mama Mia” soundtrack though I don’t think “Mama Mia” counts because the song weren’t written for the story. 🤷🏼♀️
I don’t really listen to any other musical soundtracks or have seen very many other musicals besides “Beauty and The Beast” when I was six, “The Lion King” multiple times, and “Aladdin”.
I love that! Wicked was one of the first musicals I was introduced to so it has a special place in my heart. I watched Hamilton recently and I thought I wouldn’t like it but it was pretty good! 🤩
