The way you incorporated how naïve Rhaenyra was when she was younger, and Daemon’s very toxic and quite dangerous nature, while in the same time showing how well they fit together; like pieces of a (very difficult) puzzle. Truly fantastic.

Thank you this might be one of those rare unhealthy relationships that I willingly root for. No matter how similar they are to each other, Rhaenyra do was naive around this time. In her inner core she may be as crazy as Daemon but around her teens she still was naive and Daemon loved to carve her inner self out. They were like batteries that you don’t wanna put with each other otherwise they’ll explode together.
It is such an interesting dynamic because they started out with a naïve Rhaenyra w/ room to mature, while late20s/early30s Daemon was a bit more set in his ways. It's like they switched from Daemon minding her to Rhaenyra trying to domesticate him. This reminds me of a post-ep10 fic I read where Rhaenyra says something along the lines of "I don't doubt your love, but I doubt if that love is worth the trouble." Now I have to look for it.
Oh god, I have such a love hate relationship with this ship and this is the only edit I've seen of them this far that seems to depict them as I truly view them. Rhaenyra's naivety and Daemon's impulsive yet at the same time manipulative nature were perfectly illustrated in this. This feels both like a love letter and hate mail. I absolutely adore it. One of the best contributions anyone has made to this fandom, and I've seen some great ones thus far. Keep up the good work! (only if you want lmao, I'm not your boss) I'll probably watch anything you make at this point.
Dear it’s an really interesting video. While it’s not my most favourite edit of this ship but I think unlike other edits that show the romantic tension and their respective journeys together, your edit capture the true essence of their characters and their dynamics. I agree with other commenters that you showcase their relationship well that even though Daemon and Rhaenyra share same fiery core but they are still have the nerves to bring out the beast within each other which in their own dynamics is spicy and interesting that they could live their whole life together but it also has its drawbacks cause you can’t put two alphas together. They’ll shred each other to pieces. Their dynamics can work for either good and worse and while likely the latter is usually a bad scenario in most cases but in their cases even that works and that’s exactly they are perfect fit together. Once again an awesome edit ❤

Really glad that you think that I captured their essence well, I love the metaphor of two alphas together, even if I'm not entirely sure that they are 100% Alpha, both of them, but at the end, I did just tried to show it for their relationship, how they can be as much as wonderful together as toxic. I've read the book as well. In the book, he's more after the power, the throne and he's colder and less caring of his brother's consideration and Rhaenyra. The relationship with her is more lust than love, i would say. In the Show he's more emotionally vulnerable. I believe he loved her during a period, somehow, but it's obvious twisted kind of love. Besides the incest, and Viserys, we need to understand that Daemon is complicated and controversial. He's not good on expressing his own feelings and is not the type who can be faithful husband, cause he's agent of chaos who's always chasing adventures, strong emotions, pleasures...His love is like fire. It burns harder than ever and is consuming and ending fast when troubles, disagreements begins, cause there's no longer understanding. Probably, Rhaenyra was wrong, she's not that fire like him, and he's always looking for to the one who can keep his flame alive, cause he needs that. That's his nature and can't be changed...XD We'll see what happens in S2 but im not expecting positive things, i only hope they won't add more shocking value scenes out of nowhere lol The choking is enough...XD
